Protocol Alpha-Victor: Containment Breach

Chapter 14

Logan charges at them. John, Leon and the other fires rapidly. The gunshots haven't impeded his speed. Leon attempts to shoot at its legs, causing him to slip down. The commander rushes in and stabs him. Logan shrieks and grabs the commander and throws him back to the stairs. Logan then retreats.

"Commander, you okay?" John asks.

"Yeah, just clinging on the stairs. Help me out."

Leon and John pulls him up and patches up his wounds. The other soldier searches the perimeter for any signs of Logan. "Area's clear for now."

"S**t! That is a heck of a guy." Leon reacted.

"Arrgh! My wounds will be fine. Where is the next stairwell?" The commander asked.

"It's in the right corridor and to lab 43. It's a secret stairwell that will take us to floor 10." Leon said.

"Help me up."

John and Leon lifted him up. The restocked themselves and moved to the next stairwell. They found a room saying Anti-Vampire equipment. John and the rest went in. Leon inserted his keycard and unlocked the door. "Kyle, help me out here."

Leon and Kyle pushed the door and it opened. Everything is in ruins. The lab equipment has been damaged and the place is full of bodies. Leon searched the shelves. Kyle looked on a strange vial codenamed, Garlic.

"Guys, I found this vial codenamed Garlic. It might be their next weakness." Kyle replied.

"But there's only one vial."

Kyle looked under the shelves and saw 14 test tubes full of that same Garlic stuff. "I have a syringe, 3 each. We need to inject them with this."

"Hmm, that's too slow. We'd be drained up." John argued.

"Hold up! There's an injector gun. We can load the tubes and inject them easily." Leon grabs the gun and takes one of the vials. He loaded it and it was ready for use.

"Okay, grab as many as you can here. We need all we can get here. The vials must be kept safe." John ordered.
