The alarm broke off sending the panicking staff to flee. James, Spencer, Katrina and Carrie went to Halsey's office. They found him standing against a wall looking at a picture of his wife.
"Dr. Halsey, the facility is under attack. Logan has escaped and we jeed to get out of here." James said in a hurry.
"No! Logan must not escape the facility. I'm putting the facility into lockdown. If any surviving staff has escaped, they will be executed. Wait, I've sent a rescue team." Halsey replied.
"Wah, What the f**k? Are you insane?" Spencer reacted.
"He knows what you're doing." Katrina said.
"I know. We have been decimating their population on purpose." Halsey said.
"Bulls**t! Why in the world would you do such a thing?" Carrie asked.
"They deserved this! We are the superior species. If those guys foumd a way to evolve, there's no stopping. They could enslave us!" Halsey stormed.
"haah, we need to get to the warehouse in the basement." James ordered.
"WARNING, POWER CELLS HAS BEEN DAMAGED! SWITCHING TO EMERGENCY POWER." A computer voice announced.
"S**t! We need to move now!"
"Halsey, you coming?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah! It's time for them to be extinct once and for all." Halsey replied.
Everybody left his office. The halls are mostly dark and some are dimly illuminated. Halsey gave them flashlights. "Save your batteries. Who knows how many of them are lurking around." Halsey warned.
They saw bodies with blood almost drained into nothing. They all look pale and pretty much dead. "Logan's trail must be close." James replied.
"So how do we get to the warehouse?" Katrina asked.
"We need a keycard. Specifically a white one. The Janitors and mechanics always has those. They may have it in the Equipment wardrobe." James said.
"But where is it really?"
"Let's take the right and then another left and the last door." Halsey added.
But before things could get worse, a corpse begins to twitch and mutate. The mutated corpse becomes a Grim. It lunged at James. James switched his flashlight to UV mode. The light instantly burned and scorched its skin. The corpse is killed after long exposed to UV.
They made a right turn and saw more corpses. Spencer investigates "They seem to be newly bitten. They could reanimate at any moment."
"I thought they were intelligent like Logan himself." Carrie thought.
"They seem to be in a feral stage. But when Logan is nearby, they go to a coordinated stage. Kinda like in HALO games." James explained.
"Wait you play those? That's cool!" Halsey replied.
They continued to walk and made a left turn they saw the last door. It's the wardrobe. But out of nowhere, Logan shows up.
