"I went to find you, while the rest of us are going after the on-site nuclear warheads." John contined.

"The f**k?! There's a f**king nuke here?" Pat reacted.

"Problem is that we need you. I know that these guys can't go down that easily. I need you guys safe. And for the most part, I'm also committing treason." John added.

"Okay so what do we have to do?" James asked.

"There is another exit here. It goes way deeper in this facility. I will be giving you the coordinates. I'll be heading back to my group. Here use this." John hands James a wireless, earphone communicator. "We'll keep in touch."

"What about you're team?" Carrie asked.

"I know. They're gonna set the nuke. If the nuke is set. Go the other exit. There's a long slide down the mountains and into the forest. You need to be safe." John reconciliates.

"Thank you." Halsey greeted him.

"Well, vampires aren't gonna take over our world." John mocked. A voice was heard on John's radio "John come in over."

Everyone went silent. "Yeah, copy. What's the status?"

"We're in floor 9. You?"

"I'm at floor 4. I'm finding some evidence as to how this breach started." John lied.

"Wait? How did you get there so fast?"
"I used a secret elevator. Almost busted but I made it here. How are you guys holding up?" John asked.

"Well, if ever the grims haven't attacked us yet. We're still finding the stairwell. Gud luck." The call ends.

"S**t! They've made it closer to the nukes. You must hurry. And don't take the elevator. It broke when I reached here." John stresses the group.

"Okay. Let's move out people." Halsey replied.

Before John left, he gave James a note. "If I didn't make it, please give this to my wife and my son. I haven't seen them in the past few months."

"We will, sir." James accepted.
