Chapter 13: Video Meeting

Gru, Bugs and Daffy finally made it to their way home, and Gru is still really proud of himself.
"Gru, do you mind if I have a quick word?" said Dr. Nefario, looking a little disappointed.
"...I got the shrink ray!" Gru said.
"We have 12 days until the moon is in optimum position. WE CAN'T AFFORD ANT DISTRACTIONS!!!"
Gru now needs to get back into to business and focus. "Get me Perkins."

Gru sets up his presentation, and is starting to connect the video chat on his TV to Mr. Perkins laptop. "AH-HA! Sorry to bother you, Mr. Perkins, but I figured that you would want to see THIS!!!" He held up the Shrink Ray to the screen.
"What!?" Mr. Perkins said, being suprised.
"Huh!?" Then, Gru tests the gun to one of his minions, making him super super small, so that he can show Mr. Perkins how much progress he has done.
"Well done, Gru. Rather impressive."
"Now, the rest of the plan is simple." He then shows him a slideshow of his plan. "I fly to the moon, I shrink the moon, I grab the moon, I sit on the toilet! Wait. Wha...!?" Suddenly, the last page was a drawing of him on a toilet; which was a prank from Daffy. "Sorry. Sorry! Could you excuse me for just one second?" He walks up to Bugs and Daffy. "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH MY THINGS! I TOLD YOU, I TOLD YOU, I'VE TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES!"
"Hey! I'm just trying to have some fun here." Daffy said.
"Fun!? Just, fine, fine, fine, whatever. Just get BACK IN THERE!!!"
"Eh... can we order stuffes crust Pizza for dinner?" Bugs asked.
"OOH! STUFFED CRUST!" Said one of the minions.
"I'LL STUFF YOU BOTH IN THE CRUST!!!!!" Gru said in anger.
"Look, pal. I don't know what the deal is." Daffy said.
"Just don't come out of that room again!" Gru closed the door on Bugs and Daffy, and is now going back to where he was doing. "All right. Sorry about that. Where were we?"
"You were sitting on the toilet." Mr. Perkins said.
"No no no! No, I'm sorry. It was a little attempt at humor. I know how much you like to laugh!" Mr. Perkins is now looking very upset than he was before. "...inside. Now, I was saying..." Then, Bugs and Daffy sneaked out of the room, making Gru losing track of his presentation.
"You don't seem terribly focused Gru."
"Believe me, I am completely focused."
Then, Bugs popped up in the screen to see Mr. Perkins. "Eh... what's up doc?" Bugs said.
"WHOA!!! WHAT ARE THOSE!? ANIMALS!!!???"
Gru has now heard Bugs voice right by the TV. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? I TOLD YOU TO STAY OUT OF THERE!!!" Gru said. He now chases Bugs and Daffy, but somehow Bugs manages to find the freeze ray gun. "AHH!!!!! OH NO NO NO NO!!!"
"Mr. Gru!?" Bugs has freezed Gru, with his head unfrozened.
"Whoo! As I was saying..."
"No need to continue. I've seen quite enough."
"But... my plan."
"Is a great plan. I love everything about your plan, except for one thing: You." Gru is now thinking about his childhood. Like the times when his Mom doesn't care about the stuff he created.
After about 20 seconds, he fell down, making him free from the ice. "I don't understand."
"Let's face reality, Gru. You've been at this for far too long with far too little success. We're gonna put our faith, our money, into a... well, a younger villian."
"But I--"
"It's over. Goodbye, Gru." Mr. Perkins squishes another apple, then signs out of the video chat. Gru is now feeling pretty upset for himself. He has messed up everything that there's now no way he can do to steal the moon.
