Chapter 12: Shrink Ray Recuse

In the next morning, Gru is all set to begin his mission to recuse the shrink ray. "Guys, let's go! Time to deliver the cookies!" he said, calling out Bugs and Daffy.
"Really?" Bugs said.
"But, what about getting us back home? I don't think we have time for this." Daffy said.
"Actually, we're gonna have to wait for that. But now, we're going to deliver cookies! Come on!" Gru said. And so Bugs and Daffy just decided to stick with the plan.

They finally arrived at Vector's fortress, and Gru is preparing Bugs and Daffy to deliver Vector cookies. "All right. Our first customer is a man named Vector." Gru said.
"Eh... I've never thought I would say this, but, uh, so you think we can start alphabetically?" Bugs said.
"Well, I was just thinking, that it might be nice to deliver Mr. Vector first. That is all." Gru Then gave Bugs and Daffy a wagon that's filled with boxes of cookies. Gru is now preparing to activate the cookies. "Almost over. It's almost over."
While walking up there, Vector is standing right by his door. "Ah, boys. Welcome back to the fortress of Vector-tude! Ha ha ha! Do you have any cookies for me?" Vector said. And then Vector leads Bugs and Daffy the way.
Inside the fortress, Bugs and Daffy are now setting up the cookies for Vector. "You know doc, it's very nice to see you again. And I hope to see other visitors that can come by and see you." Bugs said.
"Exactly. I'd like to see somebody else order that many cookies. Not likely. Name one person who can order that many cookies!" Vector said.
"That'll be $52."
"Right."
Now the cookie robots are finally activated and ready to go. They're now on their way to the shrink ray, without Vector noticing. They cracked the code, turn off the security systems, and opened the gate to the shrink ray.
Vector is still counting his money. "So, question. Why are you wearing pajamas?" Daffy asked.
"These aren't pajamas! It's a warm-up suit." Vector said.
"Eh... What are you warming up for?" Bugs said.
"Stuff!"
"What kind of stuff?"
"Super cool stuff you wouldn't understand."
"That still sounds like pajama stuff to me." Daffy said.
"THEY ARE NOT PAJAMAS!!!!!!!!!!"
The cookie robots have now created a hole so that Gru, and his 2 minions can break in. They finally got the shrink ray, but the cookie robots accidentally close the hole and put it back together, making it stuck!
"D'OH!!!" Gru said in fear. One of the minions started to panic, and Gru is trying to calm him down.
Vector is done couting, and Bugs and Daffy are starting to leave the fortress. "Ah, here you go. 52 big ones. Bye!" Vector said. He then ate one of the cookies, and notices about the wire inside. He then feels fine with it.
Gru and the minions tries to find another way to escape the fortress. He then sees Vector walking in the hallway. They went inside the vent quick, without him seeing them. Inside the vent, They're still safe. One of the minions starts to turn the other minion into a glow stick, with his body lighting up. They now start to make a run for it, and now they can see a way out; but now they fall out if the vent, leading into Vector's living room.
Hanging up there, trying not to make a sound, Gru tries to get back up in the vent, but it's getting too hard. Then the pet shark sees Gru and tries to make a jump for it, but then hits the glass floor, and Vector just heard it.
"What the...!?" He tries to calm the shark down. "QUIET DOWN FISH!" Gru is still trying to be quiet and steady, but the shark keeps trying to aim for it, and keeps hitting the glass. "OH! DOWN BOY!!!" Vector keeps calming down. Then after a huge hit, Gru and the minions fell down. Now Vector has his popcorn box on his face, and Gru and the minions finally escape the fortress without him noticing.
Exiting the fortress, Gru now feels proud for himself. "HA! HA HA HA!!! WE DID IT!!!" Gru said with excitement.
"Well, what took you so long?" Daffy said.
"No time to explain. Now come on, guys, let's go!"

Heading back home, Bugs was now wondering about something. "Eh... what about the other people who ordered cookies?" he asked.
"Life is full of disappointments... for some people." Gru said. Bugs and Daffy once again, decides to stick with the plan.
