Chapter 15: The Runaway

           Back at Gru's home, it was time for bed again; and Gru has a big day tomorrow. "Okay, guys. Time for bed." Gru said.
           "So, do you think you can get us back to our home after your mission is over?" Bugs said.
           "Yes. That is basically my plan so far. Okay, good night!"
           "Eh... before you go, can you give us good night kisses?"
           "No no. There will be no kissing or hugging. Or kissing." Gru has left the room again.
           "Huh. What a mouron. But I gotta say, I still kinda like him." Bugs said, breaking the 4th wall. Both of them has now gone to sleep.

          Few hours later, Bugs is still sleeping. He then woke up from having a mild nightmare.  "Oh boy. What a hangover." But then, he checked on Daffy, but somehow, he wasn't in his bed! He escaped! "Daffy!?" He tries to look out the window, and saw Daffy running out of the house without anyone seeing him. "Oh no! DAFFY!!!" Bugs runs out the door, and tries to catch him. After several runs, they ran into a forest. Bugs is getting close to Daffy, and is now trying to get his attention. "Daffy! Stop!" Daffy then stopped running and turn to Bugs with upsetness. "What the heck are you doing!?"
           "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm going back home without you!" Daffy said.
           "But Daffy, we still need Gru's help. He's our only way to get us back home."
          "Forget Gru! Heck, forget this whole thing! I quit!"
          "Quit? You can't quit."
          "I never wanted you in my life! Back at the studio, it was my time to shine, UNTIL YOU HAD TO COME IN AND RUIN EVERYTHING!"
          "No! Daffy, it's nothing like that."
          "It's totally like that, YOU SELF-CENTERED CHARLATAN!"
          "Well, the way I see it, you're the one who's being selfish!"
          "WHAT!!!!!!?????"
          "Listen, I was talking to the Warner Brothers the other day, telling them how selfish you were, wanting to do everything yourself, and--"
          "Oh, I see what's going on here. You're the one who's trying to get me fired in the first place!"
          "No! THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!"
          "IT IS TRUE!!!!! YOU'VE TAKEN EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME EVER SINCE DAY 1!!!"
          "WILL YOU JUST LISTEN--"
          "NO!!! YOU LISTEN TO ME!!! ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS RUNING MY LIFE!!!!!"
          Bugs couldn't believe his ears. "What...?"
          "Well, you know what!? I'M DONE WITH THIS WORLD, I'M DONE WITH THE STUDIO, AND I'M ESPECIALLY DONE WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!"
          "FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
          "FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
          They both went away, with Bugs going back to Gru, and Daffy trying to find the portal they went through.

          Back at Gru's house, Gru kinda feels bad for himself that he dosen't want to be bad anymore. So, Dr. Nefario came to talk to Gru.
          "Only 48 hours till the launch, and all systems are go." Dr. Nefario said.
           "Uh... about that, I was thinking that maybe we could move the date of the heist." Gru said.
           "Please tell me this is not as a result of the animals, is it?"
          "NO, NO, NO! Don't... that's stupid! I just think it's kinda weird to do it on a Saturday. I was thinking, maybe a heist is a Tuesday thing, right?"
         "GRU!!!!! You and I have been working in this for years! It's everything we've dreamed of. Your chance to make history, become the man who stole the moon. But these animals are becoming a major DISTRACTION!!! They need to go. If you don't do something about it, then I will."
          Gru is now believing in Dr. Nefario's trust. "I understand."
          "Good." Gru walks away, and is now getting into bed. And he was now thinking that the first thing in the morning, he'll send them back home.

         Back in the forest, Daffy is still trying to find that portal, and is just now walking to himself. "Telling the Warner Brothers how selfish I am, just to get me fired. WHAT AN IDIOT!" But something was hiding behind the bushes. Daffy feel like he heard something. "BUGS! IS THAT YOU!? I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO STAY OUT OF MY LIFE!" A squid just targeted at his face. "AHHHH!!!!! GET IT OFF ME!!!! GET IT OFF ME!!!!!" Daffy then ram into a tree.
          Then, Vector popped out of the bushes, and grabs Daffy, and takes him to the fortress. "BOO-YAH!!!!!!!!!!"
