Chapter 16: Stealing the Moon!

          During the next morning, Gru came to check on Bugs and Daffy. "Hey, guys? There's something I need to--" Gru said, until now he realized that they were both gone. "Oh. I guess they've lefted already."
          After that, Dr. Nefario came to Gru. "Hmm. Very well. Come on, let's go get that moon." Dr. Nefario said. With them being gone, since Daffy ran away, Gru now feels depressed, but is really prepared to steal the moon finally.

          The minions were in their stations, and Gru is now in his space suit. He then looks up at the rocket, then one of the minions came up to then quick to give him a little something.
          "What is this for?" He asked.
          "Recital" the minion said.
          "The recital? I am the greatest criminal mind of the century! I don't go to recitals!" He throws the ticket, then the tiny minion from the shrink ray grabbed it, and puts it in Gru's space suit pocket.
           Gru gets in the rocket, and is ready for launch. He then turns on Dr. Nefario's video chat to make sure everything's all set.
           "Opening launch bay doors. Commencing launch sequence. And we are good to go in T minus 10 seconds." Dr. Nefario said. And after 10 seconds, Gru takes off. The rocket is fully out of the house.
          "Nice work, Doctor. All systems go!" Gru said.
          After thousands of miles away from Earth, Gru has reached the moon. He now gets out of his rocket, gets close right by the moon, picks up his shrink ray, and shrinks the moon! While the moon shrinks, it made the waves of the ocean disappear, and somehow turn someone from a wolf, to his original  human look.
         After the moon shrinks fully, Gru has finally done of what he really needs to do. "Ah! HA!!! I'VE GOT IT!!! I'VE GOT THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE GOT THE MOON!" Gru said in happiness. While feeling proud of himself, he saw the ticket that the minion gave him. And suddenly, it has Bugs' signature on it. Apparently, it was a gift from Bugs. Gru looks at the time on his watch, and has thought of something. "I can make it." Gru decides to get back to Earth and tries to have enough time to go to the recital.
          Back at the lab, the tiny minion somehow grew back from his original size. Dr. Nefario got suprised, and realized something. "Wait a mintue!" he said.
          "KEVIN!!!" the other minion said after seeing the minion back to normal size. Dr. Nefario checks to see of the ship is back to normal size too.
           Still getting back to Earth, Gru is still making his chance. "Come on, Come on!" he said.
          Dr. Nefario tries to call him, to tell him a warning. "Gru! Gru, can you hear me?" But Gru is still focused on getting to the recital, and didn't have the time to call Dr. Nefario. "Quick, we  have to warn him, AND FAST!" He runs his motorcycle, but is going so slow.
          "Okay, okay. There's the library. That's third street. The dance studio... There! There! There it is!" Gru said, as he prepares for landing. After hitting the ground, he stops quickly, before he wastes time.
          Gru finally arrives at the recital, but suddenly no one is there. "Sorry, buddy. Show's over." said the dude who works here.
          "Over?" Gru then takes a look around at the empty room, and then he finds a note, taped to a chair. He grabs it and saids:
"This seat is for you. Have a great time here! From, Bugs."
          He now wonders if this is what Bugs and Daffy has gone after checking on them in the morning. He turns around the paper, and on the back it saids: "Bring the moon!" And it has Vector's symbol on it. Gru now thinks if Vector has kidnapped them. He runs straight to the fortress to recuse Bugs and Daffy.

          Back at the fortress, Daffy wakes up very tried. "Is this heaven?" he said to himself. "Where... where am I?" He turns around and see Bugs right by him, and then they both screamed when they looked each other.
          "AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"
          "NO!!!!! GET AWAY!!!" But Daffy now realized that him and Bugs are trapped inside a glass ball.
          "Oh, thanks a lot Daffy!" Bugs said.
          "Me!? WHAT DID I DO!!!???"
          "Well, since you've ran away, we are now stuck in this lair together."
          "HEY!!! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO STARTED IT!"
          "Don't blame me, Daff! You the one who--" Then Vector came out of the door. "BOO-YAH!!!!!"
          Bugs and Daffy are now scared to see Vector. "Mother!" Daffy said in fear.
