The night had been going well, so far. And by 'well', I meant not everyone was drunk. And by 'not everyone', I meant only Percy and I were sober - and Annabeth, but she doesn't exactly count because she wasn't really a part of the party. She was more going round the house, tidying, fixing things, or sitting in the corner reading. You see, the Jacksons (Percy and Annabeth) had invited the swim team - the Olympic swim team - over for a party. All of the other team members were drunk - except Lillia, my girlfriend, who was just a bit tipsy.

As all this was running through my head, Annabeth walked in, and came and stood behind where Percy was sitting. He lent his head against her legs. "Why do we even have alcohol in this house if neither of us drink it?" he asked.

"Reasons like this." answered Annabeth, gesturing at the failing thumb war between Marco and Jack.

"Perce, why don't you drink?" asked Lillia, her words slightly slurred. Okay, maybe she was more drunk than I thought. Percy grimaced.

"I had a step-dad - "

" - before Paul." Annabeth cut in.

"Yeah, before Paul." Percy agreed. "Anyway, he was always drinking and - and he was abusive to my mother and me. I hated him. I don't ever wanna be like that." He reached his hand over his shoulder and Annabeth took it.

"You won't." she said, reassuringly, rubbing her thumb in circles on the back of his hand. "Not if I can help it."

"And you know I can't do anything in my life without my Wise Girl." Annabeth smiled at him, lovingly.

"But, I don't think your friends are in any state to even be in a car, let alone driving one. Do you want me to make up some beds?" she asked. Percy turned around, properly looking at her.

"As long as you're sure it won't be too much work." He answered, a worried expression on his face.

"I can help." I offered, gently laying Lillia on the ground. "I hope it's not annoying or anything to have the team over. They're usually a bit more - well, put together." Annabeth smiled.

"Don't do anything stupid, Seaweed Brain." she said to her husband. Then she turned to me. "Come on, guest rooms are down a couple corridors."

Whilst we walked through, I was marvelling at how large this place was. I mean, guest rooms, plural! We turned another corridor, then Annabeth stopped. "How many of you are there?"

"Four guys, and Lillia and I can share."

"Okay. Then the spare twin rooms, and one double. I can do that." She walked down the corridor and opened the door. "This should be good for you two." I walked in, and froze. It was beautiful! It was all dark grey and silver, with a nice double bed off to the side. "I'll grab the sheets, there are spare guest pyjamas in the cupboard." Guest pyjamas? I walked over to the cupboard and opened it. It was massive, with so many drawers and shelves, and hangers. I gabbed the guest pyjamas, and guest robes, and guest slippers.

"I did not realise you guys were this rich!" I said, turning around. Annabeth laughed again.
"I'm the C.E.O and founder of Olympus Architecture. Percy is on the USA's Olympic Swim Team. And we have a lot of family money. My mom, and Percy's biological dad helped us get the land to build it on. I designed it."

"Woah."

We made the bed and then went through and did the same thing in the two other rooms, then we went back to the game room. Lillia was sleeping on the sofa, and two of the boys were passed out. Percy turned as we came in.
"It wasn't too much work, was it?" He asked, as Annabeth came and sat down next to him.
