The next day Tyler felt something that he rarely ever felt,  excited to go to school.

He would get to see Josh.

Now he knew he probably wasn't gay and he was probably just one of those kids who was nice to everyone, but he didn't care. He was nice to Tyler and that's what mattered.

Now Josh, he was excited to see Tyler too. But he didn't want to freak the boy out, and he wanted to talk to his friends about welcoming Tyler into the group and get them to agree with it.

Tyler didn't have to go to all of their hangouts or be around them all the time, but it would be nice if he had a place to sit at lunch.

When Josh got into school he saw all of the girls in the group, which was Billie, Jenna, Debby, Sarah, and Breezy.

The boys were Brendon, Dallon, Pete, and Patrick. But they couldn't bother to be there until five minutes before school started.

As Josh started to walk towards them, he looked over at the door and saw Tyler, and he smiled and waved at him, who seemed to be taken back by this, but he waved back.

"Did you just wave at Tyler Joseph?" Sarah asked.

Josh turned around and furrowed his eyebrows at Sarah, "Yeah, I'm tutoring him," he said. "He's really sweet, why does everyone hate him?"

"Is he talking about that Joseph kid again?" Billie asked walking over. "We had a whole ass conversation about him last night."

"Dude, it was like 8 minutes long, get over yourself, I don't even like the kid. Just don't want him to be alone and shit," Josh said.

"Do you think he's cute?" Breezy asked. "Because he is."

Josh shrugged, "I- well, yeah," he said. "But that doesn't mean anything! I think Patrick's cute!"

Jenna gasped. "Josh and Patrick! I will make that happen!" she said getting really excited.

"Oh no you will not!" Josh said. "Patrick is just my friend!" he said.

"Mhm, sure Josh," Jenna said smirking and pulling out a nail file and filing her nails as a way to seem sassy. Josh rolled his eyes.

"Come on Billie, we're going to class," Josh said waiting for her.

"Hell no, I'm waiting for Justin," she said leaning up against the lockers.

Josh sighed. "Guess I'm going to class alone?" he said. When nobody moved he sighed and walked to his first period class. At least in an hour he would be able to see Tyler, and hopefully help him out some more.

He set his stuff down and sat at his usual table.

When Tyler's science class was over, he pretty much bolted out of there. He had never been this excited to go to his math class ever.

He walked in and sat down at his seat, taking a few deep breaths. He knew Michael was staring at him, probably judging him, but he didn't care.

He bounced his legs and played with his fingers anxiously, where was Josh?

When Josh finally showed up (Which felt like forever to Josh but it was only a few seconds) his heart started racing.

"Hey Ty," Josh said smiling as he sat down. He didn't know why, but he liked talking to him, he was just easy to talk to, and he liked that.

"H-hi Josh," he said in a soft voice smiling. He got out his homework and set it on his desk. "A-are y-you still t-tutoring m-me tonight?"

Josh nodded. "Yeah, I don't have anything going on after school, do you have something?" he asked. "Because it's fine if you do."

Tyler laughed to himself. Yeah, as if he had something to do tonight.

He shook his head. "N-nope, I-I'll be there," he said.

Josh smiled, "Awesome," he said.

And so the two worked together, they did their math problems and Josh helped Tyler learn everything, even after the teacher explained how to do something and Tyler was still confused, he helped. He made Tyler feel safe and comfortable. And that was a feeling Tyler usually never got, but he already loved it.

Tyler kept glancing at the clock throughout the class, and any other day 5 minutes would feel like an eternity, but today, today it felt like the class somehow went by faster than usual.

When the bell rang, Josh smiled his smile that made Tyler fall apart. "See you later, Ty," He said and walked out of the classroom. Tyler stood there with a stupid smile on his face as he walked out and into his history class, the class he had with Jenna and Debby.

He walked in and sat at a desk in front of the two girls, since they could pretty much sit wherever they wanted. He also wanted to hear the girls say anything about Josh.

Not that he had a crush on Josh or anything, he was just curious about him duh.

"Patrick does not like Josh! It's never going to work Jenna," Debby snapped obviously annoyed at her friend for not shutting up about the topic.

"But Josh likes Patrick doesn't he?" Jenna asked, and Tyler would never admit it, but it made his heart shatter into millions of pieces

"I don't think so Jen. Let's just let them get together when they find someone," she said. "Besides, Mikey and Pete just broke up, and I'm pretty sure Pete and Patrick have something going on," Debby said.

"But, Josh!" Jenna said. "He deserves someone too, now that I found love with Sydney, I want everyone to find love," she said.

"And he will, once he finds the right person, but for now, let's not pressure him alright?" Debby said.

Tyler chuckled to himself, he liked these two. Jenna was so quirky, and Debby was like her mom having to calm her down.

When school was over, Josh and Tyler met again at the library.

They sat there and Tyler did his homework, struggling but getting help by Josh.

When Josh was explaining a problem to Tyler, they were making eye contact, and Tyler was blushing badly, but what surprised him was that Josh was blushing too. He always seemed like a "Tough guy".

Tyler stared at his features, his face was beautiful in his opinion. There was something about him that was just perfect. He wondered how he was still single, with such a beautiful face like that.

Josh was thinking the same thing, at some point he gave up on trying to even explain the problem and stared at Tyler's beautiful face and features.

From an outsiders point of view, these two were having a staring contest, with heart eyes.

Eventually though, Josh snapped out of it and realized what had happened, and blushing terribly, Tyler then snapped out of it and hid his face.

"So anyway," Josh continued, as if that moment never even happened.

After they finished their math homework, they stood up and grabbed their backpacks.

"Same time tomorrow?" Josh asked him.

"Y-you know i-it," Tyler said and then instantly regretted it. 'you know it'? how much more cringy could you even get.

Both boys left, and both were left thinking about that stupid moment where they were staring each other.
