Josh drove home from the library and walked in his house. Typically he did his homework after school but ever since he'd been going to the library with Tyler after school, he just did it there.
He set down his bag and went to get something to eat, he decided on grapes. He put them in a bowl and washed them, going to sit down at his kitchen table.
As he ate the grapes, his sister Ashley came downstairs and stole a few. "Hey where have you been? You're usually home an hour earlier," she said.
"Oh, I'm tutoring this boy at the library," He said getting a small smile and blush on his face remembering what happened.
Ashley, knowing her brother, knew the stupid smile he got on his face and she furrowed her eyebrows, "For how much money?" she asked him.
"For free," Josh said which made Ashley's jaw drop.
"For free?"
"Yeah, what's so bad about that?"
"Why would you do it for free?" she asked him. "You could be making money." This wasn't at all like her brother.
"Can't I just do something nice for someone?" he asked in a defensive tone.
"Yeah, but this isn't like you," she said.
"What do you mean? I'm a sweetheart!" he said.
Ashley scoffed, "Whatever you say," she said taking an apple. "Who's this 'Kid'?" she asked taking a bite out of it.
"Tyler Joseph," he said, making her eyes widen.
"You're tutoring Tyler Joseph?" She said in a surprised tone, as if she couldn't believe it.
"God why does everyone react like that when they hear his name? What's so bad about him? Josh asked in a kind of angry voice.
"He's, you know?" Ashley started. "He's like, weird I don't know how to describe it."
"He's really not, you just have to get to know him," Josh said. "Seriously Ash, he's a pretty cool guy. He's not as bad as people make him seem."
"Who are we talking about?" Josh's other sister, Abigail asked coming downstairs.
"Tyler Joseph, Josh is tutoring him," she told her.
"Tyler Joseph?" Abigail asked. "I'm friends with his sister, Maddy," she said. "She always talks bad about him."
"God you people are so judgemental! Calling people weird and listening to other people's words about them when you don't even know them as a person!" Josh said standing up. "Tyler is a great person, now you two need to get your heads out of your asses and accept people that may be different then you."
Josh stood up walking upstairs, leaving the two girls speechless.
Ashley looked at Abigail. "What the hell was that?" Abigail asked.
"I don't know Ab, I've never seen him get that defensive, especially over a weird kid," she said.

The next morning Josh showed up at school, and before even going to say hello to his friends, he walked up to Tyler.
"Hey Tyler," he said, catching him off-guard making him flinch a bit. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you."
"H-hi J-josh, i-it's okay," Tyler said, he had a smile on his face, standing there awkwardly, he was pretty shocked someone was talking to him with everyone watching.
"Library tonight right?" Josh asked him.
"Library is closed today," they heard a voice from behind them, which was Ashley's, who had been spying on her brother, trying to get Tyler away from him. Josh needed to keep his reputation, and she would help him with that. She didn't think he realized what he was doing.
