The rest of the day was boring as usual. I couldn't wait until tonight. It was Marks party and the night I'll win the competition against Johnny. Oh, he won't even believe what I'll do to his car.

I smirked evilly until Brynn and Annie came up to me.

"You guys wanna go shopping for the party?" Brynn asked. Her face anxious to use all her money. Annie and I nodded and we hopped into my car.

We decided to go to a new shop that just opened on the outside of town. It had the best attire for a party and they also sold the best makeup.

We had spent at least an hour until I had found the perfect red dress. It was made from a soft silky material that was short and tight. It complimented my skin and hugged me in the right places.

Brynn found a rose gold dress that traveled just above her thighs. It was off-the-shoulders and made her look glowing.

Annie discovered a white lace dress that fit her personality so well. It was elegant yet subtle in a beautiful way.

When we bought all our dresses we agreed we should start getting ready for the party at my house. It was almost 6 and the party started at 8. My parents were on a 10 day vacation to Costa Rica and my sister was at college so I had the whole house to myself.

I wasn't worried about my parents not letting me go to the party. It's not like they care anyway. My mom has always let me do whatever I wanted to and my step-dad is to drunk to care. It's better this way anyways, I get what I want and they don't have to pay extra attention to me.

"Are you ready to kick Johnnys ass?" Brynn asked. Her face was full of seriousness but Annie was laughing.

"Always." I said.
There were two things I would never do in my life:
1. Lose to a conceited little jerk
2. Go on a date with a conceited jerk

When we were all dressed for the party, I had to add one extra touch to my look. A ruby necklace my sister gave to me before going to college. It was a beautiful dark red with gold outline and a "K"engraved in the back. I always wore it when I needed good luck. And maybe tonight it would give me exactly what I'll need.

I smiled in the mirror one last time before hopping into the car. Tonight I was going to win no matter what. I might as well have fun while I'm doing it.
