Chapter 9: Destiny Intervines!

Ausar's POV

We then were in attack position. I saw the look on Zarlax's face, he was looking at me and had a big smirk on his face.

As I looked at him I felt dark energy surge through me. I ignored the feeling and then attacked. Radrair and I tag teamed and defeated all the odds.. Slicing and cutting, punching and kicking. The battle seemed endless. "Radrair we have to get outta here."

He cleared the path for me to catch his sister. I picked her up, she was unconscious and I couldn't stop stairing. "Dude!" Radrair said as he punched me in the face. "Sorry Radrair.....I couldn't resist." I looked up ahead and ran. There were lots of people around trying to slow me down but Radrair cleared the path.

Within minutes we made it out the camps and Radrair used his ring to separate us from the deathless by means of fire. They then were slowly getting past the flames but it bought us enough time to escape.

The rain was pouring heavily. "Damn why is it raining so hard?!" I asked. "I don't know?" We then were far enough from the site that we slowed down. By then Radrair's sister woke up, "Radrair......" She said. She opened her eyes only to realize I wasn't Radrair. She then turned red and freaked out.

She kicked and screamed until I dropped her. She then got up, "Radrair, who the hell is this?!" She asked. "Annie meet Ausar, Ausar meet Annie." He said.

"Pleasure meeting you......I wish we could have met under more.....appropriate circumstances." I said. I looked at her body, "Ausar!" Radriar said. "Sorry it's just so.....tempting!" I said. Annie blushed, "You like what you see?" She asked. I looked at Radrair and his expression said if you say yes I will kill you. I turned back to Annie, "Im sorry...........Im to young to answer that." I said. She then stopped blushing and crossed her arms.

Suddenly we heard clapping from straight ahead. "Bravo.....Bravo....Ausar." The figure said.

"Who the hell are you?" Radrair said. The figure came closer and it was Zarlax! "Zarlax how did you get here?!" I asked. "It doesn't matter now......all that does is you people aren't leaving with your heads intact." He said. "Well this is it then........if we beat you, the deathless will certainly take a drop." Radrair said.

"If we beat you then the world might have a chance!" He said. Zarlax smiled, "Nice fantasies, but you'll have to beat me first and no one has ever beaten me!" He said. "Suddenly I felt dark energy that same sensation going through my body...and running down my spine.

Radrair and I pulled out our weapons. Radrair had a Maximus shield and a normal sword. I had 2 duel noble blades. Zarlax ignited his Trans Lx and took out his VILE blade. Instead of having one color aura it was multicolored with a dark glow. "That sword has special qualities Radrair. It must be gem modified." I said. "I know....it's best we stay away from the trans Lx and stick with the VILE blade.

Suddenly there was a loud boom of thunder. And lightning flashed and hit the ground several feet away from us.

"Let's go!!!" I yelled as we ran to Zarlax. Zarlax smirked and ran to us as well. We jumped over him and did sling shot into his back, he turned around and blocked. We dodged the light saber blade that he swung soon after. We jumped back and we both threw knifes and him.

He deflected all of them and ran towards as. He tried to stab Radrair but he dodged before impact. I jumped and was about to attack from the sky. I landed my first hit, "Now Radrair." We both punched him up into the air. He came down hard and we backed up.

We both stared at him. He got up and whiped the little blood spot we had left. He then stopped smiling and he came towards as at blazing speed. With almost no time to react Radrair parried the attack and I came from behind him and tried to stab him.

Zarlax backflipped and I managed to scratch him. "His moves are sluggish but it doesn't look like we're doing much damage. Let's tire him out." I whispered to Radrair. He gave me a thumbs up. With that we ran at him clashing out blades. He then broke our defense and sliced my nobles in half.

He then kicked me into the air. He tried to end his combo but Radrair blocked him from getting to me. I then landed on my feet and used my broken swords but in a different fighting style. U held my swords like knives and ran in to attack.

I kept hitting his blades and looking for an opening but it was no use. His defense doubled. "Radrair time for plan b." I hit Zalax's sword up into the air and kicked him. But he also cut my left hand off. I backflipped back. "Holy band activate!" Pure energy surrounded me as it restored my left hand and hit Zarlax bad.

He went flying back but some how managed to land on his feet. "This battle is going nowhere time to step it up!" Radrair said. "Yeah let's hit em' hard!" I said. We both ran at him, he smirked and I felt more negative energy. We both went in for the stab but he then vanished!

"Where did he go?" I asked. It turned he was on top of us. He then came down and sliced Radrair's right hand off. Blood spilled everywhere. He then sliced his blade in half as well. We were exhausted and blown back.

"Master Zeb was right.....we weren't ready." Radrair said. "Hmph" I replied. "I'm sorry for putting you in this position Ausar......but I have something to tell you." I looked at him, "I'm......Im one of the Deathless." He said. I was shocked. "So even if I die it won't matter.....I wish I could say the same for you."

Zarlax then came at us.....he knocked all our swords out our hands. We again backflipped and he sliced the air. We then jumped and both punched him. Again he vanished and he stabbed me in the back and Radrair in the side. We screamed in pain as we kneed down, "Radrair...L-listen t-to m-me........you need to run and grab your sister." I said. Here......take this." I gave him the ring and he healed himself.

"Now run." "No I'm not leaving you!" "Its to late for any of you!" Zarlax said. He then picked up his sword and Rose it preparing to stab us both. "No!" I. Said I then got up and tackled Zarlax. "Radrair! Take your sister! Run damn it Run!" I said. Radrair then got up and picked his sister up and ran.

"Get off me you brat." He said. I held him right down until Radrair escaped. He eventually did and I couldn't do anything else. Zarlax then kicked me in the stomach and I fell off him. He stood back up and stabbed me. Everything went black yet I could still hear one thing,

"Ausar! Nooooooo!!!!!!"
