Chapter 11: Journey To Revolution!

(3 days later)

With my weapons ready and my strength replenished, I was ready to leave my sister and avenge Ausar. I just packed up the last of my things and I was out the door. My sister walked in my room half dressed, "So......you leaving?" She asked. U looked up at her, "Yes...I have to." A tear streamed down our faces,

"Radrair.....I just don't wanna lose you again......why can't you stay here. The deathless won't come here....and we can just live peacefully." She said. I grabbed her, "Annie, I need to avenge Ausar........and also I need to find out something for myself."

"No....I won't allow it! I'm older than you remember?!" She said angrily. I let go of her....closing my eyes I just walked out the room, "Im sorry....it's just something I have to do." I then walked out the my room into the living room and then out the door. The man coincidentally walked in as I left,

"Hey kiddo where you goin so early? And what's up with the bags?" I looked up at him. My sister came running in and stopped when she saw me in the doorway, "Im leaving....there is something I have to do. Don't worry I shall be back in time." I said.

"Don't let him leave.....please!" My sister said as she started to cry. Suddenly I remembered back to when Ausar said the exact same thing to me that time. I was being selfish and impatient....but now I'm different. "I don't wanna go either......the truth is I'm scared as hell! But I have to do I....for all of us." I said.

My sister looked, "Don't be stupid....you can't take on the deathless yourself!" I heard that line way to many times before. "You nearly died if it weren't for Ausar. And besides......he wanted us to be save and far away from the deathless.....that's why he sacrificed his life for us!" She said.

"That might not be the case........" I whispered. "So what do you mean he's not dead even though you and me both saw him die!" She said. "Now wait wait.....what are y'all talkin about?" The man asked. We both looked at him, "shut up!" We said in harmony. We looked back at each other, "there is a chance he might be still alive." I said. "That's impossible and you know it!"

"Aren't you wondering how I'm still alive?" I asked. She looked at me perplexed. "Well........"

"Maybe he didn't die.......maybe it was an illusion......I felt something that day....right after he was stabbed......I could still sense something." "So what do you mean your gay?" She said. "No.....look I don't have time for explanations. I gotta do what I gotta do and that's final!" I said as I stormed off.

She ran after me but Saro stopped her, "Just let him go......he'll come back." She struggled but finally submitted. I said my final farewell and left them.

In 20 minutes or so, I made it out the village. The inside looked much different than the outside. The fields were barren and trees half dead. I managed to ignore the eery setting and moved on. I ate some of my food and walked some more. I learned from my mistakes. I knew I couldn't take on the deathless again...,..by myself. U needed help.

That's why I decided to seek help from that man Ausar and I were with so many years ago. If he were alive that is. Up ahead I saw what appeared to be a forest. I walked in, the deeper I went the darker it became. I saw a shop up ahead. I went to it, "Hello sir what are you selling?" I asked. "Hey there, well we have maps.....gems.....rings and weapons. All kinds of stuff you name it." The merchant said.

I looked at all the stuff, man he wasn't lieing. I looked back at him, "Well first do you have any maps showing deathless camps?" He looked at me in a strange way, "Why the hell would you want something like that?" He asked boldly. "Just answer the question." I replied. "Alright, Alright, Alright.....yes we have one available so your pretty fortunate."

He took out the map, "Wow...." I said as I opened it. "Yeah it's a wonder isn't it?" I looked at him, "How did you get this?" I asked suspiciously. He grumbled, "look it's none of your business.....I got it you want it so pay or leave!" He said. "Your one of them aren't you?" I asked.

His eyes widened as if he saw a ghost, "That is none of your concern." He said. I knew he was one of them, I could just feel it. "How much is it?" I asked. "500,000 gold pieces." I was shocked, "Why the hell is it so pricey?" I asked. "Hey it took a lot to get this."

"Fine!" I said as I payed with my credit card. "Pleasure doing buissness." He said. I looked at the other stuff he had. I saw a remarkable sword that was surprisingly thin but made of the finest material. "How much is that sword right there?" I asked. "Ooo....good choice it's made of the rarest metal, it's called the Executioner. It's 100,000 gold pieces."

I gave him the cash and then left. I then stopped, and turned around, "Do you know a man.......tall, muscular, gold armor and he's kind of an invented?" The man looked at me, "There are many of who you speak. You'll have to give me something better then that."

I rubbed my chin, "Well honestly...,I don't know much about him. My friend and I traveled around....fighting the deathless. I never...." The man's eyes opened, "Wait a minute! I know who your referring to......that man, his name is Armeteis......he's my brother. You must be, Ausar?" He said. "No....I'm Radrair. Ausar was was my friend, more like a brother.....but he died some time ago."

I said. "I'm so sorry, if you don't mind me asking, why do you search for my brother?" "Oh because I need his help and advice." I said. "Well, I'll take you there. Coincidentally, I was just going there after my work shift." He looked at his watch, "Which is now." "Great!" I said. "My name's Joseph, and my brother lives not far from here. About 40 miles away from here." He said.

"Wow.....that's not to far. But it should take us about 12 hours." I said. "He then went inside the hut and came out with a traveling bag and everything, "I always come prepared." He said. With that we both walked off deeper into the forest.
