Chapter 16: A New Vile? Part 2: A Dark Legend Born

Radrair's POV

The beast kept attacking us. We tried to kill it but our attacks were not going through. "Armeteis! We have to break through!" I yelled. He nodded. We both ran in for an attack. The beast spit out fire and Armeties fell back. I jumped and aimed for that dragon shaped flame thrower. I managed to hit it and he fell back. I jumped a few yards away as well. "Well done. You have actually landed an attack.

Now it's my turn!" The beast said. "You can speak?" I thought to myself. It then pointed his long blade into the sky. It emitted a bright light into the sky, "what the hell are you doing?" I asked. "He's calling..." Armeties said. I was puzzled, "Calling who?" "An army! Wave one is here already!" He said. Figures, humans as well as humanoids rose from the ground and appeared.

"Bring it!" I said. I ran to the beast as fast as I could. He smirked. A force came from my side, it blasted me out the way, "What just..." I looked up. A man dressed in bright gold armor and had a sleek silver blade, holding his arm in my direction with a glowing ring on his ring finger. I looked straight as I saw the beast standing over top of me. He grabbed my neck and held me in the air, choking me.

I coughed, "Radrair no!" Armeteis said as he tried to come to me. He only got tackled by more humanoids. Right then I heard a loud boom. The beast looked up and dropped me to the ground. I laid there trying to recover my breath. I looked up, a figure dressed in black with a shield on his arm and someone in his arms emerged from the castle.

"What is this?" He said. The figure then became enwrapped in black aura and flames as he came down to the ground. He came down and sent a shockwave that shivered through my veins and spine. I then quickly got up and back away, the fighting stopped due to the dramatic appearance. The figure was a man dressed in black armor with gold lining and sharp samurai like horns out of his helmet.

He put the girl down on the ground. He looked at her, then looked at me and the beast. Armeties then looked up, "Is that.....?" The man drew his blade. The beast smirked as they both ran towards each other. Then the black figure jumped over the beast, turned around and stabbed him right in the back. He then fell to his knees in pain as he eventually died.

He withdrew his blade and looked at me, "Who the hell are you?!" I asked in fear. The figure then once again engulfed himself in black flames as in a flash he killed the army of humanoids, only a few remaining. He then swiftly made his way in front of me. In a flash we were face to face. I then jumped back pointing my sword at him. He then dropped his sword and he took off his helmet. I was stunned, it was Ausar! He looked different. Besides the blood and scars, he seemed to be under an influence, almost evil.

"Long time no see." He said. I then ran to him and hugged him tightly. Armeties then came, "Ausar....your alive? How?" He asked. The man behind us coughed, interrupting our reunion. Ausar picked up the girl he had been carrying before. "This is Isa.....she is dead but I have a feeling that she'll be waking up in due time. He gave her to me.

"I'll handle this guy, you guys run I'll catch up to you. You have to go now!" He yelled. "I'm not losing you a 2nd time! We'll take him on together!" I replied. He then shook his head, "Brother, you and Artemeis are the key to ending this war! I can't have you sacrificed for my blood go! Isa needs your help too!" He had a point. "Alright, Radrair lets go." Armeteis said. I nodded. We ran off leaving Ausar behind. "Ausar! Where are we going to regroup?" I yelled. "Don't worry, We'll meet again!" he said. I turned and continued running.

Ausar's POV

"So....your my opponent for this battle." The man said boldly. I turned back smirking and let off a small laugh. I grabbed my helmet and turned around, "You sound confident in your skills and think you shall win. Let me show you how wrong you are!" I said as I put on my helmet and black flames covered my body. I then ran to him, he ran to me.

He jumped and stroke from the air, I dodged and jumped back. He then ran to me and in a blink of an eye was infront of me. I blocked his attack and jumped back again. I then jumped into the air. He did the same and we were fighting in the air. He flipped my arm upwards and tried to thrust in. I leaned right and hit the ground. I backflipped as the other remains of the humanoids were after me.

He then landed and ignited his ring and a powerful shockwave in the form of energy was lunched toward me. I was hit and was blown back. I then got up and slightly giggled, "It's my turn now!" I yelled. I ran towards him, thrusting my blade forward. Another one of "them" blocked him. I jumped back as the man went through him to get to me.

After, I jumped right back into the action and thruster my sword in. He parried I took my blade back and went in for a second strike.

He blocks and then falls back. I then launch in for a third attack. He expecting it blocked once more. Our blades clashed releasing thousands of sparks. "Got you!" I yelled. He looked surprised as he knew what I was referring to. I pushed my blade harder. I heard a small crack and eventually his blade broke! He fell back, on to the ground. I then jumped into the air for a final blow, "Please, spar me!" He screamed. "No mercy!" I yelled as I came down from the air and stabbed the man in the chest.

His eyes widened as blood dripped from his mouth. "Just die already!" I exclaimed as I twisted the blade deeper into his chest. He eventually gave out and died. I withdrew my blade and stepped off of him. I figured some of deathless would be coming soon so I ran off in search for Radriar and Armeties.
