Chapter 14: Fighting?! The Vile!

About 3 hours went past and Armeteis had just finished the Infinity prototypes. I stood guard at the portal, several strays came but I took care of them. I heard foot steps. I turned around and it was Armeteis holding the weapons, "I'm done.....now we should get going." He said. I grabbed a sword and a shield he had been holding for me and we took off.
"So.....how are we gonna find Ausar?" He asked. "When Ausar and I trained for master Zeb, he both put tracking devices in us.....I disabled mine but Ausar's isn't." I replied. "How could you tell?" He asked. "I just feel it....now, I can sense where he is, even though mine isn't working." I said. We walked further into the night. It was pitch black but thankfully the big blight moon shined its light down at the surface.
"So where is he?" Armeteis asked. "Not to far, actually he's about 20 miles away.....in what would seem like a castle. There is minor interference but my results should be accurate." I said. We walked for about an hour, arriving at the location. We had fought some of the deathless on the way as well.
"Well this is the place." I said.
Ausar's P.O.V
I saw a muscular figure come in the room. It was none other than Zarlax the Vile, "Hello...Ausar, sleeping well?" He said in a taunting voice. I cursed under my breath and clenched my teeth. "What do you want?! Why didn't you just kill me before?" I asked in rage. "Oh Ausar......you are so absent minded. I wanted you alive, always have.
I need you. You are to be my successor.....and you are to plague mankind for all its mistakes." He said. I was shocked, "Oh hell no! Why would I want to be your successor?!" I asked. "I thought you might be defensive. I assume Isa, my daughter has told you.....about my......situation." "Yeah all about it..." "You've sensed this energy......this Vile energy."
"I don't know what your talking about." I exclaimed. "I know you've felt it before. You want it........but are afraid. Only my successor could of felt this energy. You felt it during your battle with me. When you saved Radrair......you didn't do it for him, you did it for my energy." He taunted.
Filled with rage, "I don't know what your talking about! And I'm not even one of you deathless, I'm normal!" I said. "Oh really? Well let me share a secret with you that I've been DIEING to share with you!" He said as he pulled out his blade. I had a feeling what he wanted and what he was trying to prove.
He then stabbed it in to my chest, "Damn!" I said as blood came out of my mouth and chest. "I've been watching you for sometime Ausar. Ever since you were 8. Remember, you were an orphan and no one wanted you because......" My eyes widened, I finally remembered, the villagers said I was deathless! "Ugh" I growled. "Now......accept my gift!" His body became engulfed in purplish black aura. The energy surged through his sword and went directly into my chest, "Noooo!" He then laughed, "Now, experience death at first hand!" He said as he twisted his sword deeper into my chest. The pain, was too much.
My heart eventually gave out and everything went black.
"Ausar......wake up!" I heard a voice. I slowly opened my eyes. I looked down, my chest had a lot of blood with a sword stuck in me. My vision was blurry for a while, then my memories came back. "So.....you've joined the land of the living once again." Zarlax said as he took the blade out of my chest. "I.....died?" I asked. "Yes and now....the vile energy is within you. Now.....exceed me and accomplish what I have started." He said.
"No!" I said. I felt massive strength within me. I broke free of the chains and hit the floor. Zarlax was surprised and I used this it my advantage and flipped over him taking my swords back. "Sneaky one." He said as he laughed. I growled, "I will......Kill you!" I yelled as I came towards him. He dodged all of my attacks. I then successfully kicked him in the jaw.
These duel blades come in handy I thought. He went flying to the ground. Blood dripped from his nose and lip, "hmph." He murmured. He got up, purple aura once again engulfed his body. His eyes turned purple as well. He came at me with blazing speed.
With bearly enough time to react I backflipped and Zarlax missed. Or so I thought, his body vanished and only left an after image behind. His voice was laughing from all directions. I then saw a flash behind me, there he was. I tried to turn but it was to late. He kneed my spine I kicked my legs. I fell to the floor. I rolled on what seemed like a broken back.
He went for the stab, "Crap!" I exclaimed. I kept rolling over until I jumped to my feet. We clashed blades each producing a bigger force then the next. "Strong, this is the power of the vile.....use more of it my son." He said. "Don't hold your breath." I replied panting heavily. I then jumped over the table. Zarlax then sliced his sword and missed me.
I then jumped and punched him in the face. He was stunned, I then stabbed his side and kicked him back. He rammed into the wall making a dent in it. I didn't give him a chance to recovery then went in for the final blow. As soon as I made contact, the body disappeared. "What the?" I turned in back of me he wasn't there. I then walked away from the wall puzzled.
He then appeared right in front of me. He grabbed my neck as if it were a rubber duck(😂) he then squeezed harder and started choking me, "It doesn't matter if you do this." I managed to say. He only smirked, which got me scared. I then couldn't breathe anymore as as I felt myself turning blue and was about to give out. Everything turned blurry and was closing in on me.
Then suddenly a throwing knife came out of nowhere and struck Zarlax's arm, nearly hitting my face.
Zarlax eased the pressure off my neck. He turned to see his daughter, Isa. She then came in and sliced her father's hand off. It fell to the floor and the arm let go of its grasp on me. Blood poured out and later stopped. We both jumped a few feet back. I then kneed down to the floor, exhausted. "T-Thanks, Isa." I said panting heavily, grasping for air.
She looked at me and smiled. She turned to her father, "Dad! What your doing,......is wrong!" She said. Her father then got up, "Isa, you've disobeyed me for the last time! You will have to die as well!" He said. Zarlax looked different also, like he wasn't in control anymore. He succumbed to the darkness even more and was not a man anymore but a monster.
Dark aura was surrounding him even more now. "Do you think we can beat him?" I asked doubtfully. "Yeah we can beat him, just listen to everything I say." She said firmly. We looked at each other and nodded. We then ran to attack Zarlax. He smirked as if he were waiting and ran to us too.
Radrair's P.O.V
We kept knocking on the door but nothing happened. Then suddenly it just opened by itself. It was very dark with wind and dust flying out. We covered our faces. It ended, then Armeteis' eyes widened. We saw a red beam in the distance, "Radrair! Duck!" He said as he pushed me to the ground. A great blast of fire came blasting out the door. We stayed as low as possible. Seconds later it stopped, and we heard giant, loud footsteps. We got up, and saw red curved eyes come out the big castle door. The titan came out.
It stunk and had 4 red beaming eyes. He was fat and had armor, covering everything except for his large stomach. He had two horns on his head as well. Also he had what seemed like a dragon head on his right shoulder that when activated can shoot fire. He roared at us. We took out our weapons ready to attack. He then blew fire at us but we dodged.
We both ran in for the attack.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!"
