Chapter 2: Another Life Another Past...

"Radriar, come downstairs right this instant!" A voice called. "Yes mother," he said as he came down. When he came downstairs, " Go milk the cows, it's almost 4:40" she said.

"Yes mother" Radriar said as he went outside. Radriar's family was......interesting. His parents were swordsmen, his father was also a merchant dealer in town. His older brother was squire and his older sister was a prostitute.

4 hrs later it was time for breakfast and everyone sat at the table to eat. They had eggs bacon and goat cheese. "Annie, go get the milk for me" mom asked.

"This is good Rachael(mom)" dad said. "Why thank you Julius(dad)" she said as they kissed. "So john, how was your training yesturday night?" Dad asked. "It was the same as always, I was serving Sir. Maximus." He said.

"Be patient son, you'll progress soon enough." He said. They had breakfast for about 30 minutes then everyone went their separate ways to do their daily duty.

Radriar was walking into town to see if he could find his parents and also see what's the latest on the market.

As he was walking he ran into his sister Annie, "Rady, what are you doing here shouldn't you be at home?!" She asked in an angry tone.

"No, I just came to look around. I'm on my break" he replied laughing. "Well I'm working so you should go home before you cause any trouble." She said.

"You call sex work, geez and when do I ever cause trouble?" He asked. "Do you want your list in chronological order or alphabetical?"

Suddenly the bell on the church rang, but it produced a special noise. "What's that?" Radriar asked in fear. "This is bad!" She said. Then loud voices from the watchtowers were screaming, "it's the deathless, there're coming! Run to the safe zones!"

People shouted in fear as they ran in choas. "Rady, we need to go!" She said. She then took his hand and they fled. They soon ran into their parents, "what are you guys doing here?!" They asked.

"Never mind that just run to the safe zones!" Dad shouted. "What about you?" Annie asked. "We have to go and fight the deathless!" Mom said. Then John came to them on a horse. "Dad, mom!" He shouted in relieve. "Son what's the status?" Dad asked. "The city is being over run by the deathless!

The watchtowers are down so we have no way of knowing...." "We have to go to the front line!" Dad shouted. "Radriar, you and Annie run, we'll fight them off!" Mom said. They then departed from each other and Radriar and Annie were almost to the safe zone.

"Comon we have to win!" Dad said. "There's just to many, and they keep coming back!" John said. After hours of fighting, they began to feel tired. Suddenly a sharp knife went through johns back! "No!!!" They all shouted. Filled with rage, Julius fought through the deathless almost all of them.

But all proved to he futile, the deathless had killed them off. Blood spills were everywhere. Hours later, the Deathless broke through and invaded the safe zone! Thousand died. Annie and Radriar then made a run for it.

They then became surrounded by them. "My father is gonna kill all of you bastards!" Radriar said. "They laughed, is this your father?" They showed Radriar and Annie his head! "Noooo!!!" Radriar said as he hugged his sister. They then closed in on them, and stabbed his sister in the shoulder. A leader came into their midst. "Don't kill the girl! We can make use for her." He said in devilish way. "Kill the boy!" A general, the leader's right hand man came and grabbed Annie and tossed her from Radrair to the ground.

He then stabbed Radrair. He fell to his knees and eventually died, "Radrair! Noooo!!!" His sister screamed as she was taken away.
