Chapter 13: Darkness.....

Ausar's P.O.V
My eyes suddenly opened to the sounds of screaming. I looked all around only to notice it was a dream. I was in a large castle. It was fancy with renaissance writings and markings on the windows. I was hanging from one of the windows, tied up and captured. Even if I could break free, it would be to high of a jump to make it.
I felt pain all over my body, plus the pain of hanging all day. I saw a figure come into the place where I was, "W-Who the h-hell are y-you?" I asked. The figure came out of the dark, it turned out to be a girl. She was my height, with jet black hair down to her elbows and had a beautiful face. "My names Isa, so........your Ausar." She said. "Yeah I guess I am." I said coughing up a little blood in the process.
"My father wanted me to stay away from you but I just had to meet you." I was shocked.....why would she want to see me? "Who's your father?" I asked. "Zarlax the great." My eyes widened as I was filled with terror, "Dont worry I won't try to hurt you." She said in a soft voice. "Oh.....," I replied.
"I sense that your friends are comming here, seeking revenge." She said. "They couldn't win." I thought to myself....."I know what your thinking, you think they can't win," she started. "But with you they can......I want to set you free Ausar." She said. "Wait what? And why??!!" I said startled.
"Because.........I hate my father......And I hate even more what my kind is doing to your world. It's not fair.....and I want to join the revolution. That......and your pretty cute." I rolled my eyes. "What does your father plan to do with me?" I asked. "Well I don't know all the details but it's kinda something like this, you see my father is DIEING so he needs a successor to lead the deathless." "How can he? Isn't he deathless?" I asked. "Yes very much so......but he uses this power called VILE." "Vile? What's that?" I asked.
"It's a powerful force produced by gems and rings. Only deathless can use its power. Once consumed by the power, they go psycho and want to kill or control everything. Also it gives its host a major power boost but at the price of loosing immortality." "Is there anyway to beat the vile?" I asked. "Maybe......I don't know. It most likely will have to be defeated by someone with a pure heart to counteract all the negative effects."
"How can I trust you?" I asked. She looked at me deep in the eye, "You can't, but are you willing to take a leap of faith to save your friends and mankind?" She had a point. "How did I get here?" I inquired. "The deathless group relocated to this castle....quite an upgrade isn't it? And most of the other deathless civilizations live a quarter mile away from here. Kind of like in a circle formation for the ultimate attack and defense." She said. "Well my father might get suspicious of me.......I should go. It was nice talking to you." She said as she ran.
Was she telling the truth? Can I trust her? I was just so confused. And she wasn't bad lookin herself.
Radrair's P.O.V
"What does this mean?" I asked. "The deathless are comming here. They know everything, about me, you guys, and the Infinity blade."
Armeteis said. "Well how did they know?" I asked. "Well even though you guys left the portal, they wouldn't have know what it was or how to use it. Or where I live for that matter." He said. "They have to of had a spy." I said. Suddenly Joseph bursts into laughter. We both turned around, "What's so funny?" I asked.
"You little ants didn't even suspect a thing." Joseph said. "What are you talking about? Joseph this is not the time to joke around." Armeteis said. "Whose joking?" He said as he pulled out his blade and pointed it at my face.
"It was obviously me.......I led them here, and I purposely left the portal opened." He said. "Damn you sunova...." "It was quite easy to fool you both." He said. "Joseph, brother I don't want to hurt you please don't do this." Armeteis said. Joseph then stopped laughing, "No.......I chose this course and now I'll finish it." I looked at his eyes. They were dark purple.
The same type of aura later was upon him. I then took my blade out and clashed with his blade. I managed to blow him back sightly. Armeteis then drew his blade and rushed in for the second attack. They clashed blades, I came in aiming to stab. He saw it coming and dodged. He punched me in the face and Kicked me into the wall. "Damn you!" I said. He then stabbed Armeteis and he fell to his knees. He went for the stab again but I quickly blocked his attack with a parry, saving him.
"You can't beat me!" He said as we dueled. I kept slicing but he kept dodging. I then jumped over his back and I managed to cut some of his back.
He then turned around and grabbed my neck and slammed me into the wall. He did it 3 times. By the third time I could swear I saw Barney floating around. He held me in the air and was ready to pierce my heart. Then from behind, Armeteis stabs him in his heart. His eyes widen. With his last breaths he tried to kill me as well. His grip was weak so I managed to break free. I backflipped kicking him in the process.
He fell to the ground on his back, making Armeteis' sword go further through his damaged soul. He growled in pain, "Hahahahaha.......you will certainly die tomorrow." He said as he stopped breathing and his eyes flipped upward. Seconds later what seemed like purple mist covered his body and devoured it.
There was nothing left. Armeteis then looked up at his computer. "This is bad, my scanners show that they're surrounding us and will be here in less than 14 hours." He said. "And there might be some strays that are already here as well." I added. "Agreed. I should finish these prototypes quickly. You should get some rest before the sun rises." He said. "There's no time for resting......I was trained for this. I'll stand guard incase any others make it here." I said. "Okay.....be careful." He said as he put a thumbs up.
Great. The deathless just had to show up......but this time..... will be different.
