Surprise update! Because I didn't update Friday, you deserve two chapters! I know that so far nothing good has happened, but bear with me; only chapter 11 involves Caitlyn's parentage. This chapter is dedicated to @gothicdemons, who was one of the first people to vote on this story -- thank you! On with the story ...

Chapter 6 | midnight duel
On Wednesday morning, Caitlyn decided to have breakfast with Spencer Tracis -- one of her roommates -- for the first time. They started eating and chatting gleefully, while paying attention to the Gryffindor table. Neville Longbottom had just opened his mail that was brought by an owl and discovered a Remembrall.
"Gran sent me a Remembrall," he said loudly. The hall was qiuet, so everything he was was heard.
Caitlyn's eyes popped out when she heard such a funny word -- Remembrall.
He held in his hand a clear glass ball with a golden line in the middle. "When the smoke turns red, it means you forgot something." The smoke turned red, obviously. "The problem is that I can't remember what I've forgotten."
"Hey, Longbottom," called Pansy Parkinson with a smirk, "maybe you forgot to shower this morning. I can smell you from here."
The Slytherin table burst in laughter and Neville sat down on his table embarrassed.
Seamus Finnigan -- a Gryffindor on their year -- stuck his tongue out to Pansy. He simply said, "You too!"
Then Draco stood up from the table and went to the Gryffindor table and picked up Neville's Remembrall. Neville immediately got up to get it from him, but Professor McGonagall got there and asked acidly and strictly, "What are you two doing, gentleman?"
Seamus was ready to offer but Neville cut him off.
"Malfoy took my Remembrall, Professor," he said in a sing-song tone.
McGonagall glanced severely at Draco. She was ready to start giving him a lecture but he placed the ball back on the table, next to Neville's plate.
"Only seeing it," Draco replied, before she said anything. He then got back to his spot at the Slytherin table, next to Crabbe and Goyle.
Spencer and Caitlyn got back to eating their breakfast. When they finished, they went to their first class -- Charms. They were going to have the class with Ravenclaw, taught by Professor Flitwick. They got to the classroom and sat on two empty tables in the centre of the room. Flitwick came in after everyone was already in their seats.
"Good morning, everyone," he greeted happily the class. "I am Professor Flitwick, your Charms teacher. Please open your book on page three."
Everyone did. The page said Hovet Charm.
He procceeded, "We'll be learning the movement swish and flick. You swish and you flick. Come on everyone. Pick up your wand and then swish and flick." He demonstrabted as he spoke.
The whole class did the movement ... during the first thirty minutes of the class. Right when they were getting sick of it, Flitwick announced, "All right, everyone get a quill and put it on your table. Now put your wand down and say with me -- Wingardium Leviosa. Remember to say an open 'a' in Wingardium and an open 'o' in Leviosa. Repeat it with me now."
"Wingardium Leviosa," said the class.
Flitwick clapped and smile. "Well, now grab your wands and say it to the quill. Remember to swish and flick!" he warned.
