IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ:
Hello, I haven't seen you in a while! Just kidding ...
I'm just warning you that I have created a Twitter account: http://twitter.com/amadcat_wattpad. See the external link! So, if you have a Twitter account, follow me and I'll follow back! I will post sneak peeks, if you'd like (give me your opinion on whether I should or not, since this story goes at a very SLOW pace, and I think you might get a bit bored until chapter 81 -- I'm not going to tell you what happens then, haha!), so ... follow me!
And also IMPORTANT: cover trouble! What cover of the ones in the picture do you think is best for this story (see the picture on the side or in the beginning -- it depends if you're using the Wattpad app or not)? Leave me a comment with the cover number, but if you don't have a Wattpad account to comment, you can always use Twitter! (I always wanted to say that! Lol!)
Dedication goes to @HaileySnape for her amazing support! Thank you, Hailey!

Chapter 10 | nicholas flamel
Hermione came back the day before the term started. That was the day Caitlyn and Harry first talked after the whole 'dead-parents-in-the-mirror' mystery. Harry informed her he had stopped going there, because Dumbledore said it could drive him mad, and that his cloak was folded away in his trunk.
"Can you forgive me for saying those things?" Harry asked.
And Caitlyn, being as forgiving as she was, simply nodded. He pulled her into a tight hug and leg go of her afterwards. Hermione was still looking unpleasant about the words 'Invisibility Cloak', 'out of bed', 'Dumbledore caught me' and 'Filch heard something'. And also very disappointed because the three of them didn't discover anything about Nicholas Flamel.
"If Filch had caught you!" she warned. "And how couldn't you find anything on Flamel?" she kept asking over and over. "We'll be starting the research tomorrow at every break you have in between classes. And don't give me that face, Harry, I know you have Quidditch practice, but this is really important."
--
After a month or so, Ron, Hermione and Caitlyn were hanging out in the Gryffindor common room. Hermione and Ron had been playing chess for half an hour. Chess was the only thing Hermione wasn't good at, and Ron thought it would make her some good. The next thing, Harry burst in the room.
He sat next to Ron, and the ginger boy said, "Don't talk to me for a moment. I need to concen-- What's the matter with you? You look terrible."
"It's Snape," he answered in a whisper so that only them could hear. "He wants to be a Quidditch referee. Gryffindor's doomed. I'm doomed."
"Don't play," said Hermione.
"Say you're ill," said Ron.
"Pretend to break your leg," said Caytlin.
"Really break your leg," said Ron.
"I can't," said Harry. "There isn't a reserve Seeker. If I back out, Gryffindor can't play at all."
At the moment, Neville Longbottom toppled into the common room. How he managed to climb through the portraits hole was anyone's guess, because his legs had been stuck together with the Leg-Locker Curse. He must have had to bunny hop all the way up to the Gryffindor Tower.
Everyone fell about laughing except Hermione and Caitlyn. Caitlyn leapt up and preformed the counter-curse very easily, since she was good at almost every type of spells, especially charms. Neville's legs sprang apart, he got to his feet, trembling.
