Chapter 15 | the burrow

One month away from classes starting, Caitlyn had discussed with Ron the possibility of going to the Burrow -- the Weasley's house -- for a couple of weeks. Uncle Lucius and Aunt Narcissa weren't fond of the Weasleys at all, but they actually liked Caitlyn very much and agreed she could go, as long as the Weasleys picked her up and the Malfoys didn't even have to be near them. Glad Caitlyn didn't say how they were going to pick her up ... Ron's letter had been very explicit.

Dear Caitlyn,

I'm glad the Malfoys let you come. I, Fred and George have made a plan to get you and Harry. He hasn't answered any of my letters during the whole summer. I'm starting to get worried. So I'm telling you the plan, but you cannot tell anything to the Malfoys. It is not legal so nobody can find out. Nobody, I tell you.

As you know, dad works in the Minuse of Muggle Artefacts Office at the Ministry of Magic. He keeps a flying car illegally at home, and tomorrow, at midnight, we'll pass by your window and you'll come to get Harry with us. Pack your things to Hogwarts because we're thinking that we can take you to Diagon Alley and then we'll go to Hogwarts together, if the Malfoys are okay with it.

The only thing that could go wrong in our extremely good plan is being seen by the muggles or anyone  else, really. Dad could lose his job! And also, we have to be back home before Mom gets up and figures out we're not there. Then we are really screwed. If anything changes, I'll let you know, no worry. See you tomorrow, Caitlyn!

Love,

Ron

The next night after dinner, Caitlyn said goodbye to Uncle Lucius, Aunt Narcissa and Draco. Once she went to bed, she couldn't really sleep, knowing Ron, Fred and George wouldshow up at her window in a while. She started packing her clothes in her trunk and then waited a long time for something to happen.

Then she saw through the window a couple of lights pointed at her room, one of them passed right through her face. She ran to the window and saw there a car flying in the air going straight up her bedroom window. Inside there were three people -- all red-headed.

Caitlyn opened the window and yelled in joy, "Ron!"

The car stopped by her window, still flying.

"Caitlyn!" Ron called back.

"Hey, Cait," said George from the front sit. Next to him was Fred. "D'you know how easy it was to find this house?"

"Blimey, CT, this thing is huge!" said Fred, looking around himself. "What are those things over there . white peacocks?"

"Albino pecocks, for the matter of fact," corrected Caitlyn in a 'Hermione tone'. "Thank you for coming to get me."

"No trouble," said Rom. He was smiling at Caitlyn a lot. "Happy to see you. Hey, has Harry been writing to you?"

"Nope, still no," said Caitlyn. "I've been getting more and more worried about him."

"Hey, lovebirds, you talk on your way to Privet Drive," said George amusingly. Caitlyn's cheeks turned red. "What? It's not like -- ow! -- Ron, did you just pinch me? OW -- hey, stop it. Just stop pinching me! Fine, I'll shut up! RON, I SAID I'D SHUT UP!" Caitlyn chuckled. "Where's your trunk, CT?"

Citlyn carried the trunk to the window. The twins helped putting it in the back seat on the car, under Caitlyn's feet once she sat down.

"4 Privet Drive, here we go!"
