She doesnt tell me where she's taking us which only worries me slightly. We've been driving for about twenty minutes now and she's not letting on at all about what we're doing.
We finally stop in what looks like the middle of nowhere. At one side of us is the entrance to a dense forest and at the other is just fields for miles.
She gets out of the car with a mischievous grin on her face and I follow her out. She goes around to the back and pulls out a checkered blanket. "Picnic?" She asks.
I frown at her, "But we dont have any food?"
She sighs and then looks back in the back seat of the car. She leans down and pulls out a bottle of cheap wine. "I stole this from my house a few weeks ago and forgot all about it," she says as she wraps it up in the blanket, "Its not like anyone was going to drink it anyway."
I reach for her hand and she squeezes it before letting go. Like a small child, she runs into the forest excitedly and once shes a few metres in, she lays down the blanket and sits down.
Dry leaves and twigs crunch beneath my feet as I go to sit beside her. She lies back and pulls up her top when it threatens to slip down.
I just sit and watch her for a second as she closes her eyes and breathes deeply. Her lips part and a sigh escapes her mouth as she opens her eyes again.
I move quickly and press my lips against hers whilst she lies there. A small cry of surprise comes from her and then she melts into my touch.
"Quinn," she breathes and chills run down my spine. Her arms wrap around my neck and when I pull back slightly, she pulls herself up after me to kiss me again.
I sit back on my heels and she comes with me, sitting herself on my thighs and pressing her forehead against mine. Her breathing is ragged and mine is too. In the silent forest it's the only thing to be heard.
"Quinn," she says again and I realise that I love my name coming from her mouth. "We should go home. Now."
She jumps to her feet and grabs my arm, barely giving me a chance to grab the blanket. I start to panic and wonder why her attitude has suddenly changed but then I forget all about it as she spins me and presses my back against the car to kiss me again.
I can taste the whiskey she had to drink at Angel's but it's not that that has me intoxicated. Her fingers pull at my curls and and I groan against her lips.
"Fuck Quinn, get in the car." She says and pulls away from me quickly.
I jump into the car just as she does and then we swerve out onto the road. I try to calm my ragged breathing but my entire body feels hot.
The car journey is the longest ten minutes in the world and when we finally pull up to the house, Rya is out of the car faster than anything I've ever seen. I run after her as she bursts through the doors and brushes past Artie in the foyer to get up the stairs.
I'm right behind her and she grabs my arm to yank me into her room and slam the door behind us. I kiss her this time and slide her jacket off her shoulders and onto the floor. She grabs at my shoulders until mine is off to.
She walks backwards, her lips still attached to mine and then falls back to sit on the bed. I see the hem of her t-shirt and wrap my fingers around it, "Can I?" I ask her.
She nods and I yank up. She cries out loudly and I pull back. "Fuck!" She shouts with her hands between her legs. "Shit. I'm so sorry I forgot this was a bodysuit," she hisses with a pained smile on her face.
I start to laugh at the absurdity of the situation and she does too. "Maybe we should slow down a little?" She suggests.
I nod and sit beside her on the bed. She smiles and looks over at me, "I have to ask," she says as she shifts herself slightly on the bed, "Who's name did you say when you were with Ellie? I'm sorry but it's been bugging me for days now."
I shake my head with a grin, "It was yours," I tell her, "That probably didn't help the fact that they thought I was working closely with you."
She smiles widely, "Probably not, no."
Her face screws up as she thinks about something. She stays like that for a few seconds and I start to wonder what the hell shes thinking about.
I tilt my head to the side and look at her closely, "What are you thinking about?" I ask her.
She doesnt answer for a second and then looks directly at me with a tiny little smile on her lips and that mischievous glint in her eyes. "I'm wondering what the most flattering way to take off this bodysuit is going to be."
My heart starts to pound again and she leans forward to kiss me. I pull away quickly, "And?"
"I'll work it out as I go," she whispers and then presses her lips to mine.
