Backstage there were a bunch of red velvet chairs set up. There were even a few snack tables for us tributes before we got on the stage. No one was eating at them though. They were either nervous, not hungry, or afraid of the table. Then there was me, I didn't eat of the food because I don't want to harm my body, which is a temple. While waiting for my name to be called my eyes met with Mollie's, the girl from District One. Naturally I wink at her, she just blushed and turned away. She was one of the girls I'd been more seriously flirting with. I turned my head and I saw Cypre, who surprisingly hadn't been staring at me. I flexed my muscles and winked at a few other girls before my name was finally called.
I walked onto the stage, shoulders back, giving the crowd my awesome and sexy smile. I'm wearing an unzipped leather jacket, leather pants, and leather converse shoes. My stylist says it'll make me look stronger. As if I don't already look strong. She also said it gave me more sex appeal. Again, as if I wasn't already bursting with that. She had gelled my hair up so it looked almost natural. Overall I looked sick.
I sat down in the chair and waved at the crowd.
"Hello Lyle" said a smiling Brielle.
"Why hello Brielle," I said taking her hand and kissing it. She blushed and pretended to smack my arm.
"Oh you!" she giggled jokingly. "Okay, in all seriousness, tell us why you'll win"
"Well," I drew out, "There are MANY reasons actually" and I stop there. After a few moments of silence a few people in the crowd start to laugh.
"Any you'd like to tell us about?" laughed Brielle.
"Oh, sure! The main reason is I've been training for my whole life! I'm ready to kill all of those tributes, well except for maybe one of them.." I trail off. This was aimed at Cypre. I doubt she knows it though. Probably because I acted like I had no idea she was alive. Don't get me wrong, if I wanted I'd flirt with her. But she was different then the girls I flirt with.
She seemed more interesting, and real. I was waiting for her to make the first move. I moved on with my answer, "Also unlike many of the wannabes, I ACTUALLY can kill. I know how to. Also I've noticed quite a few of the ladies in the crowd drueling over me. If I come back then I could possibly do some personal things for you," I say winking. "The last reason is that I can't allow anyone else to steal the glory. I'm here to win. And I will." Pause. Cheers irrupt from the crowd and I smile. "That's why I should win!" As if it were on cue the buzzer went off. I stand up and bow. Then I give Brielle a hug and kiss her on the cheek. While doing this I make sure to bend down much, so my vest and pants look much tighter. Finally I let go of Brielle and slowly stroll of the stage waving, winking, and flexing my muscles.
Well that was easy
