Taylor's POV

I was high up in the  tree when the earth started trembling. My head shot towards the  hourglass shaped mountain, and to my shock I realised it was turning.  Giant rocks fell of the mountain, towards my direction. Realising that I  wouldn't be save in this tree, I quickly climbed down and ran. A smirk  tugged at the corners of my lip when I saw other tributes in front of me  and behind. They passed me like I was invisable. I grabbed the knive  out of my pocket and threw it at the District 2 girl. I think her names  was Cypre, or something like that. She fell on the ground with her eyes  wide open. A cannon sounded. I didn't stop running as I took the knive  out of her back. District 1 and 2 first, I thought to myself.  I was now  deep in the forest, but I could still hear the tributes screaming. One  scream sounded closer than the others. I hid behind a tree, to see the  District 1 boy torturing Laura, the District 11 girl. She screamed in  pain as the boy plunged his dagger in her legs and arms over and over  again. It was painful for me to watch. After all, I'm not thát  heartless. Careful not to make any sound, I threw the dagger at the boy.  He screamed in pain as the knive went through his right leg. He fall to  the ground, still screaming his lungs out. I ran as fast as I could  towards him, took the knive out of his leg, and finished him off.  Another cannon. Laura hadn't stop screaming and a pudle of blood  surrounded her. I examined the wounds, but everything I had was a knive.  She would be dead in a few minutes. I decided to spare her the pain,  and plunged my knive deep in her heart, whispering how sorry I was. A  cannon broke the silence.

I killed three people, I think that enough for one day. I ran further and climbed up in a three.

"May the odds be ever in your favor," I said to myself dramatically.

Haley's POV

I had just seen the  faces hit the sky from my plateau (which was an amazing hideout spot,  since you couldn't see it from the top of the mountain), when I decided  that I could as well sleep a little and search for water and food  tomorrow. I wasn't going to search for people to kill, but if I had to I  would. Certainly. When I had settled down a bit (though that was a bit  of impossible on a mountain), I heard rumbling and the mountain started  to tremble. Wait a sec, trembling??!! I grabbed my spear and stood up,  just to fall back down again when the mountain flipped upside down. I  grabbed the plateau quickly, now holding on to the downside of it. O my  god. Well, I should've expected it, even a little, I mean, in the Games  everything can happen. I heard a long scream and someone fell down on  the plateau. Wait a sec, this is my plateau. Well, not that my name's on  it or anything, but hey, I was here first. Childish, I know. Then I  remembered my spear in my other hand. The girl was still alive, only she  was barely holding on. I remembered her from the interviews, Xylia or  something, the girl with the high IQ. I didn't hesitate and stabbed the  girl in her stomach. She quit breathing immediately. I needed to get out  of this mountain, so I started to climb/run down. It went quite well,  until I met another tribute, hurrying out of the mountain, just like me.  She saw me and I knew she'd kill me if I didn't . I threw my spear and  hit her in the neck. Dead. I pulled the spear out and cleaned it with  her pants. Now I recognised her, but vaguely. It was that girl from  district 6, Caden. I continued my climb down as quickly as possible.  Meanwhile I saw another tribute (Flower, I thought from district 10) and  killed her immediately. When I arrived on the ground, I felt so  relieved and ran away from that mountain, not knowing where that would  take me.
