Mariana knocked so hard on the door of her house because she was living with her mom. She couldn't just bear to leave the woman who brought her into the world as at the moment. “my love what's the matter", her mom Graciela asked as she opened the door.
Mariana didn't respond and just ran into her mom's arms and sobbed quietly, her mom closed the door with a spare hand and patted her lovely daughter patiently. Mariana pulled away from the hug and went to the living room with her mom following behind.
She sat down on the couch and her mom sat beside her. “Princess,you know you can tell me anything " her mom assured her. Mariana kept crying and tried to find words to put together. “mom,today...was so horri...ble for me and it was all my fault because I was trying to help a fellow worker". She explained everything that happened at work to her mom.
“my love, this isn't your fault", Graciela said trying to calm her baby down. “you did what any woman could not do,you are a brave young lady and I want you to keep it up,don't let any man treat you or any other woman like trash cause you are my champ,OK?”.
Mariana nodded and as as pleased she had a mother like Graciela.
Mariana told her mom that she would resign from the company and seek for a new job that would bring at least the same income she was getting from the company. Graciela didn't persuade her to keep working at the company because she knew Mariana wouldn't accept that and she wanted the best for her daughter.

The following day,Mariana got ready as she woke up. She just had coffee which her mom had made for her and she rushed into the garage,entered her Camry car and drove off to the company in which she worked.
As she entered the building, she could hear whispers but didn't mind. She went into the manager's office without knocking and saw that he was there. A dangerous smirk grew from nowhere on the face of Rodriguez as he eyed Mariana from head to toe.
