Graciela was wheeled into the hospital and was admitted in a ward. She was connected to an oxygen bag as she was still unconscious. Tests were ran on her as Marianna was at the reception waiting impatiently. She was broken and sad,she didn't have anyone to call at that moment except her aunt who stayed in Chicago as she and her mom lived in Mexico. She dialled her aunt Lucia number and it had a few rings before the call was picked.
“anna my love,how are you doing, I've misses you so much", Lucia said in a happy tone. Lucia was the younger sister of her mom.
“aunt, I'm so alone right now", Mariana said while sobbing. “ Mariana, what's the problem, you sound sad and I'm sure something is not right, what's wrong hun?". “mom is in the hospital aunt, when I got home she was laying unconsciously on the floor , I don't know what to do". Marianna said. Lucia was shocked at the news,she assured Marianna that she was going to be in Mexico the following day .
As Mariana ended the call, a doctor came to the reception to see her and called her into his office.
“miss Marianna, you need not panick as your mother is awake, she's okay now, she just suffers from fatigue and stress that's why she fell unconscious, I've prescribed some drugs and you can get them at the pharmacy down the hall. You only have to pay for the drugs and your mom can be discharged and leave any time soon". The doctor said smiling. Marianna was short of words as age shuttered...
“thank you so much doctor....um....",
“alexander, but u can call me Alex". The doctor completed her sentence as she didn't know his name.
Marianna was filled with happiness, she was grateful to the heavens for saving her mother. She dialled her aunt again and told her the food news, Lucia was happy but still insisted on going to Mexico to stay with her sister and niece so she could be of help to them as she could start up a business in mexico. She didn't want her sister to be alone since Marianna was still a young lady and had her life to live.

“mom, thanks for being alive and being with me, I would have been lost without you",Mariana said to her mom as she was staying with her in her room painting her mom's toe nails with a red nail polish.
Lucia had come and had started staying with them, she was preparing dinner in the kitchen as she was a very good Cook and offered to make dinner. “ princess, I'll always be with you OK?, I won't leave you, you are all I cherish in the world" Graciela said smiling. “what of me,don't you cherish me big sis", Lucia's voice was heard in the room" . Graciela and Mariana chuckled as Lucia pouted ,“ of course I do Luci, I love you both" Graciela said as Marianna closed the nail polish and set it aside.
