Chapter Eight: Shit did he see?!

Kirishima's POV:

Today is the day I take a step forward in my plan. If I'm going to propose I need to get everything perfect! A ture man wouldn't settle for less.
And the first step is getting the ring.

"Hey hair for brains!? Did you hear me?", Katsuki yelled at me.
I guess I zoned out...

"Heh.. No. Sorry babe. Go on, I'm listening now."

"Tch, whatever. I'm going to do some errands today so I might be home a little late. And if you need anything please don't wait until last minute again to ask me."

"Okay, okay. I'm going to be meeting up with Ochako and Tetsutetsu later on. We're going to hit up the gym for a while."

"Just don't get into any more fights with the meatheads there. You and the tin can were already banned from two gyms."

"You don't have to remind me everytime Katsuki. We did it because those unmanly meatheads were disrespectful to Ochako."

"Okay, but don't start anymore fights with them. You're still a hero. Hair for brains"

"Sure thing mom."

"SHUT UP!"

I smiled at him cheerfully. After all these years it's still fun to tease him. He looks adorable when he's angry.

"I'm off. See you later babe.", he kissed me goodbye before leaving.
God I'm lucky to have someone as manly as him in my life!

After a while I got my stuff together and left for the mall.

Ochako was waiting for me looking at stuff through the windows.
I called out to her to draw her attention away from whatever store see was eyeing.

"Ah, Kirishima! There you are. You ready go find the perfect ring?", she lowered her voice as she got to the ring part.
Mainly so anyone around us doesn't hear. All it takes is one fan so make a posy or comment that Pro hero Red Riot spotted shopping for a ring anf it's over. Katsuki would know and I wouldn't get to chance to surprise him.

We go the malls jewelry store and I'm already confused. I kept staring at the different rings that were there. They all looked beautiful and I knew this wouldn't be easy.  I just want to find the manliest ring I can.
"Kiri? Do you have anything in mind. Like do you want something metaphorical, shiny, cheap?",  she asked me despite me knowing nothing about rings. I may have a rock quirk but I know nothing of rocks.

"Nope. All I do know is that I want a ring that show's the manly bond between Katsuki and I. How much I truely love him.", As I answered I subcounciously hit my hands together in fits. I do that a lot when I talk about anything manly...

"Metaphorical it is! Here read this and I'll go find someone to help us."

She handed me a pamphlet that was all about gems and their meanings. Everything from how romantic and how sensitive they can be. Even a with shapes of the gem. 
As I looked through the pamphlet I could over hear Ochako and one of the workers as they lead us to more of the cheaper rigns that aren't disgustingly over priced. I know Katsu wouldn't let me hear the end of it if I spent a fortune on the ring. I am so glad I ask Ochako to help me. 

In the end after reading through and a bit of thought I decided on a Aragonite ring. It was a mini cluster of orange color, it kind of reminded me of his explosions. It was on a gold, brozen colored band. This was the perfect ring.

After I payed for it they took it to the back to make sure the sizing was right and put it in a felt box. So now we just wait. 

Then suddenly a wave of panic jumped over me. Ochako looked at me like I was crazy but I had the right to be freaking out like this!
