Chapter Nine: Interrogation

Third Person:

Today was an important day to the two pro heros. In their team of heros investigating the recent and suspicious crime activity. Some of the heros that were on the team managed to capture a crook who they suspected to be apart of the gang. They only hoped that this could give them the leads they need.

"Do you think it'll be any good?', Kirishima asked his boyfriend as they drove to work.

Bakugou gripped the wheel tighter and answered," I fucking hope it is. If not then we we'll basically be back at square one again!"

"Hey come on, don't worry so much. We'll have scansheet recording the whole conversation. This way we can go over anything that happens and there's no way we'll lose this information because scansheet dosen't forget anything!", Kirishima did what he could to calm down the angry hero who also happened to be driving.

Dressed up in their hero costumes they entered an interrogation room. They didn't have one yet at their Hero HQ. So instead they were at the police station instead that did have an interrogation room for this. 
In this room there were already a few heros and police officers there to help and ask questions of their own. 

The heros present were all the same heros that the two have been working with on this investigation. The police officers there we on a team of investigator who did all the studying on evidence when a hero dose their job. Beisdes at the rate things have been they could always use the extra help. 

"Has he said anything yet?", Gorund Zero asked wanting quick answers. 

"Nope. This dude has been silent so far. Only thing we have heard is a bunch of tsks and growls. For a crook he's pretty well trained to be silent.", one of the heros spoke up pointing to the one sided glass. 

On the other side of the onesided glass it was you ordinary interrogation room. A table, two chairs and cuffs attatched to the table. In one of the chairs and cuffed down was the crook they'd be interrogating. Although the poor fellow looked to be nothing more than a low ranking crook they knew to be smarter than that. Looks can always be deciving.
Especially for the fact that from the reports everyone there knows that he was with a group of crooks before being captured. The heros that captured them on patrol wishes they could've caught them all but in the end one is better than none. 

 "Is Invisable Girl already in there?", the explosive hero questioned looking around the room. 

"Yes, we made sure she went in their before we sent in the crook. This way someone is always there to stop him if he tries anything.", another hero explained pointing to a corner of the room where we could only believe that she was standing in. 

With that they decided to start questioning the crook. First an officer would try to see how he would hold against questions. Then their were five different heros with their own list of questions to ask. 

The officer didn't get much. Despite asking basic questions like, whats your name? Can you speak? Do you hear me? The crook blantly ignored him, making a Pffft sound every so often. So they basically got nothing so far and it was obvious how this interrogation was going to be. 

Next up was one of the heros. All the questions they had were fairly similar to what the other heros would be asking. However, despite the repetition of the questions it proved no avail. As the crook spoke out in gibberish, completly ignorant to the questions being asked. 

This continued on with the other heros when they asked their questions. Any kind of lead or clue. Turned out to be nothing but a bunch of bull. 

Ground Zero had enough and decided to go in and question this guy himself. At this point we all know that the explosion hero isn't a calm man. Especially under stressful situations or ones that don't give him what he wants. 

Sitting down in the chair Ground Zero snapped his finger to grab the attention of the crook. At first the crook didn't pay attention at all but for a split second while the crook made eye contact that's when the pro hero made his move.

Slamming his fists down on to the table he stood up abruptly and yelled," WHO DO YOU WORK FOR?! WHERE IS YOUR HIDEOUT!?" 

The crook was practically frozen. being that it was extermely difficult to look away from intense eye contact. The pressure weighed down on him until he snapped. 

"I uh-  Well you see. The p-p.. ahhhh! aw.. nnnnnno!", he started to crack and slip.

"SAY IT! DON'T AVOID ME!"

"SHOP! PLACE! BUILDING!"

"GOD DAMN IT!! STOP GIVING ME ONE WORD ANSWERS AND TALK!!"

It was to the point where Ground Zero was about to kill the panicking crook. He could feel a hand on his shoulder but no one was there. Clearly Invisable girl letting him know to calm down. This just made him more angry.

"GAH! I'm out of here!", The explosive hero screamed out while slamming the chair into the table.

As he left Red Riot came to his side to help him calm down. Even if it might be a lost cause. 

"Hey, it's okay you've gotten more out of that guy then any of us. I'll take it from here and see what I can do to get anything else."

"Tch, Whatever. Don't care what you do, just do anything to get that shit head to talk.", With that he was gone. Ground Zero left the entire interrogation room to cool off and to prevent him from literal murder. 

Now lastly it was Red Riot's turn. What a switch! To go from someone so aggresive to someone who can be kind, gentle and MANLY with what he says. What words can this manly hero give to make this crook finaly crack!?

Red Riot walked into the main room. Giving a friendly greeting before starting to interrogate. He didn't come off rude or agressive like Ground Zero did. He took it thorugh his own approach. Kill em with kindness. 

"Come on. You know where they are. Just tell us and get things over with. It's the right thing to do here and I won't push you too hard about it. But I believe that you'll do the right thing!"

The crook looked less stressed but his face twisted in guilt, not knowing what to say. He looked like he was having an inner struggle conflict on what to do in this situation. 

Until finally he slipped," There's a shop... for us pawns. It's big! Only the most beautiful things can be found. Things are so shiny and expensive like there. I..."

He froze in place. 

"Yes? Go on! you can tell me!", Red Riot encouraged on the crook.

Despite that he said nothing. As frozen and dull as the randome worker that he and Ground Zero found on their patrol not to long ago. He just sat there.

"Hey... Are you oka-", He had started to ask before a sudden cut off. 

The crook start to repeatedly bang his head down on to the table. Using all the force he had. In a moment of shock everyone just stared at him before realization struck. He's trying to end his life. That's some sick, twisted way to keep information. 

He screamed out something that was incomprehendable to the heros. ehat he said they couldn't understand between the yells of pain and bashing noise. 

"hey, hey, hey! Stop!Do you realize what you're doing?!", The hero tried to get through to him. However, it would prove to be useless. 

At this moment Ground Zero had come back to watch the rest of the interrogation. He was just as shocked and confused as everyone else there. 

"What's he doing!? SOMEBODY STOP HIM!", Gorund Zero ordered. Thankfully snapping everyone from their shock and into action mode. 

 Red Riot and Invisible girl were already on it, using their strength to stop the crook from hurting him self anymore. His head was already bleeding and bruised but they couldn't let him die. It was the only lead they had. 

With what little information they had, they could only hope that it could lead them to where they need to be. They had nothing else now...
