"I'm going to miss you."

A moment passed, and the smirk on the tall girl's face relays her reply before she speaks it.

"Oops, I'm not gonna miss you, so, like—peace."

"I—fine, if that's how you're going to be. Have fun walking to the train station with your billion and a half bags!"

"Wait, no, hold up, I was just joking—please drive me there, I'm begging."

"Sorry, I don't drive those that won't even give a single thought to their best ever friend while they're in a whole, unfamiliar country and could use the familiarity—"

"Nua, shut up, you're not even making sense."

The voice that cut the short woman's rant off is rough and laced with sleepiness. "I'm trying to take a nap before my next lecture, so both of you can shut up, actually."

The growl from the other side of the room is enough to make the pair at the door chuckle and say in unison, "Sorry, Love."

"We're just expressing our affection for each other in our unique ways," the tall woman adds with a bright smile, swinging a tanned arm around the sweater-clad shoulders of her shorter friend.

"Just go back to sleep, Love. I'm going to go see Rosy off at the train station then I'll be back here to wake you up, okay?"

All the small woman gets in response is a mumbled "yeah, whatever," making the pair laugh once more. As he turns on his side, Love adds, "Love you, Λουλούδι."

Rosy chuckles adoringly at his tired voice saying her nickname in his native language, and she softly replies before she steps out of the small apartment.

"Te amo, Amor."
