She was 16, extraordinary wasn't it?
Being 16.
She was still a little girl- maybe if you add a couple years.
Being 6 was pretty alright,
Until the monsters would sweep into her room
That's when the little girl, of 6
Felt 10 years more older
Moreover- she didn't know what to do
What would the little girl of 6 do?
All she could do was take the heavy breaths and trails down her skin
As the little girl of 6, would feel 10 years more older
As the monsters sweeped into her room, and claimed her innocence.
The little girl of 6, will forevermore feel ten years more older.
As she loses every bit of innocence, a little girl of 6 shouldn't have to lose.
