Walking down the beach in Venice
The streets are lovely and so are the people.
There I met you,
You were lovelyBut things don't last
You see
The first time we went out for a cup of coffee - might I add that, that was a stereotypical American thing-
We ended up at a bakery,
A bakery in VeniceThe owner was a good and just man, but not just that
I came back after a year and it was run down.
Seems like everything good and just was simply just a mask
He was a convicted sex offender
A convicted sex offender in Venice
Not everything is so nice and just in Venice
But you were so pretty, like a flower
Have you ever seen a flower after a morning mist?
The water droplets seem to drip drop down onto the grass
Pretty Flowers In Venice
But flowers die at some point
I always thought you were a pretty flower, but I plucked out your petals.
I wanted to make you beautiful- if you had asked me I would've said you had potential.
But your screams made you look ravishing.
Truly- if you ask about that little bakery in Venice
You might hear the whispers, maybe get some stares,
As they tell you all about the murder of 92'
That happened in the basement
Of a little bakery
In Venice.-
