Red Velvet Frustration

This has been bothering me for years and i cri  ;-; 

So in 3rd grade, my class and I went to the park to have a "Play Day."  As a dessert, there was the most GLORIOUS, beautifully iced, red velvet cupcakes.  

Unfortunately, whoever brought them only had 6 cupcakes for a class of 28 kids!! We all had to run in a line to get a cupcake.  And. I. didn't. Get. One. 

My class continued to play, and my friend came with the dazzling cupcake.  She smiled, took a bite of PURE cream cheese frosting and THEW AWAY THE ENTIRE CUPCAKE!

My soul shattered at that exact moment.  

I looked towards the other trashcans and noticed that the other 5 kids did almost the same exact thing!  

I would have 100% loved and eaten that cupcake.  

Although my favorite cake is vanilla cake, I was so broken because personally I really like red velvet.  I just couldn't believe that my class would just eat the frosting and yeet the cake part away.  Having cupcakes at my house is for SPECIALLY occasions only and plus, I was never a HUGE frosting fan except for Cream Cheese Frosting ;-;
