Take me back? (SEQUEL TO YOU'RE THE ONE I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR)

Meeting Dollie

Dianne's POV
Joe and I had been chatting for ages, about, well pretty much everything that had happened in the past year, Joe even said that I could see Dollie once she had woken up from her nap.
30 minutes later
I could hear crying coming from upstairs
"Sounds like someone's awake, I'll go and get her" Said Joe and he headed off upstairs, this was it, this was the moment that I got to see my baby girl again. I could here footsteps coming down the stairs and then Joe entered the living room with Dollie in his arms, he smiled at me and then he lifted Dollie out of his arms and passed her over to me, she started screaming and she was doing everything in her power to get away from me, her little arms reached out for Joe, I stood up and gave her back to Joe, she instantly stopped crying.
"It's probably because she's just woken up, why don't we try again in few minutes after she's had something to eat" Joe suggested, I nodded in agreement and then Joe took Dollie into the kitchen so that she could have a snack.
10 minutes
Dollie hand now finished eating her snack, and she seemed a lot happier, so we decided to try again, this time Joe came and sat down next to me with Dollie, he then passed Dollie over to me, at first she was quiet and then she started screaming and arching her back trying to stop me from holding her, I tried picking her and turning her around so that she was facing me but she was having none of it, in the end I gave up and handed her back to Joe, she instantly calmed down, Joe stood up and put her down on the floor where all of her toys were, she didn't cry and she seemed happy enough to be on the floor, she she didn't actually want Joe, she just didn't want me and that broke my heart into a million pieces.
