Is Dianne sick now

One week later
Dianne's POV
It had now been a week since we had got back from the hospital and Dollie was back to her usual self now, but the only thing now was that I was feeling sick, but it came in waves and it was usually in the mornings and I usually just felt nauseous during the day. I was currently lying down on the sofa feeling nauseous whilst Dollie was sat down on the floor, every now and then she would come over to me and give me any little bits she found on the floor,it was mainly just bits of paper.
"How are you feeling"? Joe Asked and he came and sat down next to me, I snuggled up against his chest and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Not too bad" I Said
"I hope you feel better soon" Said Joe
"Me too, anyway what's the date today"? I asked
"Ok random question but it's the 20th of September 2020" (because this book is set in the future) Said Joe
"Wait, it's the 20th of September already"!! I said in shock
"Yeah why"? Joe Asked
"My period is late" I stated
"How late"? Joe Asked
"Like five days late and my periods are always on time" I said
"Do you think you could be well you know um....... pregnant"? Joe Said
"Possibly, I mean all of the symptoms are there, I'll go and take pregnancy test there's some upstairs already" I said and then I made my way upstairs and into the bathroom to take the test whilst Joe waited downstairs
