Dollie's 2nd birthday

Dianne's POV
I woke up to the twins crying, I went over to their cribs and checked the time , it was 6am but I didn't mind waking up this early today as it was Dollie's 2nd birthday and I wanted to make sure that we celebrated it as I wasn't here to celebrate her 1st birthday with her. Joe woke up and he came over to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"Let me help you" you said as he rested his chin on my shoulder. He unwrapped his arms from around my waist and he went over to Junipers cot and he lifted her out and placed her against his chest, I then lifted Jessie out of her cot and we went over to the bed so we could feed the girls.
"Can you believe Dollie's two today" I Said.
"I know it's mad how fast this past year has gone by, but I'm dreading to think what that means" said Joe
"What Do you mean"? I asked
"Oh come on Dianne we've all heard of the terrible twos" said Joe
"Yeah but let's be honest Dollie hit the terrible twos like 6 months ago" I said with a chuckle.
"Well you're not wrong" said Joe kissing me.
Half an hour later
We had just finished feeding the twins and we had put them back to bed and Joe and I were in bed snuggling.
"I'm surprised Dollie's not awake yet" I said and then right on cue we heard her waking up.
"Mama, dada" Dollie called
"That's what I would call perfect timing" Said kissing me as we got out of bed. We made our way out of the room leaving the door slightly open. Joe then slowly opened Dollie's bedroom door and we walked
"Happy birthday" we both said in unison. Dollie stretched out her arms waiting eagerly for one of us to lift her out of her cot. Joe went over to her and lifted her out, we then took her back to our bedroom as it was still really early, we decided that we could all snuggle in bed a watch tv for an hour as a special treat.
An hour later
Joe's POV
Dollie was now getting hungry and the twins had now woken up for another feed so we decided that It was time to go down for breakfast. I made a start on the breakfast I poured pancake batter into a pan for Dianne and I and Dianne and I both decided that seeing as it was Dollie's birthday that she could choose what she wanted for breakfast out of 4 options.
"Okay Dollie because today is your birthday mommy and I have decided that you could decide what you want for breakfast"
"Yay" Said Dollie
"Okay so you can have cereal, pancakes, waffles or toast" I Said
"I want cereal, please" Said Dollie
"Wow I really thought she would have chose pancakes" Said Dianne coming over with the twins in her arms.
After breakfast
Dianne's POV
"Right then shall we go and get ready for your party" I said to Dollie, Joe and I had already gotten dressed so that we could dress the girls. We all headed up the stairs Joe and I carrying a twin each and Dollie following behind us, we took the girls into our room so we could get them ready, Joe got the twins ready in these outfits

And I got Dollie ready like this

"Oh wow look at the birthday princess" said Joe as he picked up Dollie and spun her around, she giggle with delight.
"Right I think it's time to go and open presents"! I Said picking up the twins up off the bed.
"Yay pwsents"! Said Dollie as tried to get down for Joe's arms, Joe put her down and then we all made our way downstairs and into the living room where a massive pile of presents were waiting for her.  She ran over to them an she began opening them, she got:
A colouring book and crayons, some new clothes, a toy computer and phone, a toy camera, a baby doll, and some books.
"Look, I be vlogger now" Said Dollie as she came over to us with her toy camera.
"Yes you can"! Said Joe picking her up.
"No daddy, I need to go and edit a video on my laptop" Said Dollie
"Oh okay" Said Joe with a chuckle and he let her go. He then pulled me towards him and we just there watching our daughter edit her video
