Continuing from last chapter. Joe's POV our lips moved in perfect synchronisation, the sparks flew just like the very first time. I pulled away, our foreheads still touching. "I've missed this" I said and then Dollie started crying. "Oooooh, I think someone's jealous" I Said Picking her up and sitting her on my lap.
Dianne's POV Dollie looked so happy sitting on Joe's lap. "Do you want to try again with Dollie"? Asked Joe "I don't know Joe the last time was a disaster" I replied "Well so maybe this time we need to do it differently, maybe this time we should get Dollie to come to you" said Joe "And how are you gonna do that"? I asked "Well I thought about that, so if you give me a moment I'll be back in one second" said Joe as he got up off the sofa with Dollie, he then walked out of my apartment with Dollie, great had he left? I sat there for a while wondering if he was coming back, I was just about to get up to see where he went when the door opened and he came back in with Dollie, he had brought a toy with him, it was a soft unicorn teddy. He came and sat down next to me with Dollie on his lap, he handed the unicorn over to me. "Here you take this" he said as he passed it over to me "Right ok and what am I supposed to do with it"? I asked "Well you see Dianne, that is Dollie's favourite toy, so as soon as she sees you have it she'll come straight to you, well hopefully" he said "Ok" I said and then I sat there with the unicorn toy on my lap "Well maybe you could play with it, so she notices it a bit more" said Joe, I nodded and then I began playing with the unicorn, it didn't take long for Dollie to notice, at first she just sat there watching me, after a little while she began climbing off Joe's lap and onto mine, she took the unicorn from my hands, I was then expecting her to go back over to joe, but instead she sat down on my lap, Joe's idea actually worked, Joe smiled and then he came and sat closer to us and he got out his phone and snapped a pic of me and Dollie.
