It was 1:30 p.m. at Charles De Gaulle International Airport and there Camyla stood at the gate waiting for Adrien who was probably still stuck at baggage claim.

"Where is that dork," she muttered, scanning the area; the place was quite a buzz. Crowds rushed in and out turning the oh-so famous international airport into a mayhem of uncoordinated carts and suitcases creating unnoticed hidden obstacles ready to strike any moment. She dodged them all; carts, trolleys, you name it.

Suddenly, she noticed a tall blonde haired figure walk through the gate, she smiled and unknowingly let her guard down; which was a huge mistake. A cart crashed into her and she fell butt-first to the ground.

"Ouch," she cursed and grunted.

"I'm so sorry, miss are you hurt?" she heard the worry in this stranger's voice. Camyla looked up and to her surprise, it was Adrien.

"Adrien? But I thought..." she looked back at the gate and saw the figure exit; it was definitely someone else.

"Camyla?," he was just as shocked as she was. "Oops, sorry. I guess I didn't look at where I was going,"

"Ya think!?" she scolded playfully. "Now, help me up!," she demanded, and he chuckled before extending his hand and pulling her back on her feet.

"Your so dramatic," he joked.

"I hate you,"

"Hate you too,"

"Come on," she said, pulling him out of the airport; first by the ear then by the wrist.

After a torturous walk, well at least for Adrien, they reached her car and she stopped dragging him.

"What was that for!?" he yelled, rubbing his sore ear.

"You pushed me!"

"Fair enough,"

They got into the car and the engine fired. As soon as they passed the main entrance, they were already exchanging information on what had happened in the last two years; the gap of which she refused to come back home.

"Oh, I almost forgot..here," she handed him the croissant and he looked at it strangely.

"Is this poisoned?,"

God, he's so dramatic

"Maybe," she snickered.

Then the red light lit up and the car came to a stop, Camyla took out her phone. She knew it was a loss cause but maybe, just maybe the damn thing had at least some power left. The home button was her victim, she kept on pressing it, again and again; first lightly, then full-on rage.

"You okay?," he asked with a mouthful of croissant.

"No,"

"What's wrong,"

She furrowed her brow at him and he caught the gist. " I am genuinely concerned," he explained.

"My boss called, twice and I can't call her back because this damn phone won't open,"

"I actually have a power bank if you want to use it,"

"Yes, please," she said calmly, but still this was her brother; she knew that there was gonna be a catch.

He rummaged through his duffel bag and pulled it out, it was white and well, portable.

"First, you have to say that I am the the smartest and you are lame," There's the catch.

"Fine, I am the smartest and you are lame," she smiled contently.

It took him a while to understand the joke. "Oh, I see what you did there,"

"Gimme!," she yelled and snatched it out of his hands.

"Hey! You don't play fair!," he whined

"Neither do you," she shot back while quickly plugging the power bank into her phone and charging it. The sound of car horns filled the air, it took a second for her to realize that the traffic light had interchanged colours; it was now green.

How long has it been like that?

Automatically, she pushed the lever and took off; again. Sighing in relief, Camyla looked back again just to make sure that she'd done what she was suppose to. Adrien had his eyes locked on the window and it reminded her of Marinette, the picture looked the same, yet they were different people. Still, it looked like a mirror; the pose they chose, the permanent frown on their faces and the way their gazes matched. She was about to say something when her phone rang.

Oh, now you want to work

She parked the car to the side of the road and checked her phone; it was her boss. She'd already had 8 missed calls, to her conclusion; she was doomed. Quickly getting out of the car and giving the 'I need to take this' signal to Adrien, she answered.

"Hello? Camyla speaking,"

"Camyla? Thank God you answered! Why didn't you pick up?!,"

"I'm sorry, my battery died,"

"Well, I'm afraid we have some news," The blonde frowned, she knew that the word 'news' mind as well be replaced with the word 'emergency'.

"What happened?"

"It's about Marinette,"

Her brows furrowed with worry. "What about her?"

"She got out,"

"WHAT?!" Camyla accidentally shouted, she wasn't going to jump to conclusions but she was pretty sure that everyone who passed by thought that she was crazy.

After taking a few serious deep breaths, she tried again. "When?," she was eager to know.

"Last night,"

Her lips gaped "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"I got the news the next morning,"

Asylum staff, they never notify the boss until they are needed at the crime scene. "How?"

"That we don't know,"

"Marinette is smart, I don't think we'll ever figure that out,"

"How is the search going? Have you found a potential target?"

"The police already found her, don't worry she's back but...,"

"Was anyone.." before she could even finished, Karen answered.

"Lila Rossi,"

Why does that name ring a bell?

Karen's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "We need you here, now. Where are you?," her voice was stern, and if there's something you definitely do not want it's for your boss to be mad at you.

"I just finished picking my brother up from the airport, I'm about halfway there,"

"We need you here as quick as possible, that is an order,"

"I'll do my best ma'am," and with that her boss hung up. She cursed under her breath while getting back in the driver's seat.

"What's going on?"

"Change of plans," she drove back onto the road.

"What change of plans?" he furrowed.

"There was a breach. I hope you like asylums," she made a hard right and maneuvered her car through the path as fast as she could; she knew that this was going to be a long day.
