Chapter 5

Maiya

i laid down calling karmas phone for the 50th time i seen her on tv and she's all over the internet with some basketball player i didn't even know about i can't lie i'm in my feelings because i do love her i just wanna talk to her so bad but she won't answer any of my calls .

" you good babe ? "devin said walking into our room

i nodded " yeah how was work ? "

"don't shit change in the drug business you know that " he said taking his shoes off

" yeah i don't know why i asked " i said walking into the bathroom

" because you care .. right ? " he said getting up

i rolled my eyes at how dramatic he was being this is how all our arguments started but i wasn't in the mood .

" i didn't mean it like that babe " i said

he walked over to me pecking my lips .

" i'm sorry i'm just stressed out right now " he said

i smiled " i understand "

he looked down at me and a big grin came across his face.

" be ready in 30 i wanna take you somewhere " devin said walking out the room

i frowned watching him until he disappeared down stairs then walking into my closet i decided on a red dress that stopped on top of my knee caps and some red bottoms i did a half up half down hair style and did my makeup .

i walked down stairs to see him and the boys all dressed up .

where are we going ? i asked

"family trip " he said opening the door the kids walked out and i followed behind him

"what about my job " i said

" you never needed that job " devin said

" what about the kids school ? " i asked

devin sighed turning around " fuck it everybody back in the house "

he did a thumbs up to the person in the jet and they pulled off the kids started whinning .

" why would you excite them like that ? " i said getting pissed off

" if you would shut the fuck up we would be going you do the most " he said slamming the door behind us

i rolled my eyes taking the kids to their room it was past their bed time so i put them in bed .

" i love you boys " i said before turning off the light

i could hear dammy light snores .

" love you too mommy " devon said

i closed the door walking up the the room putting back on my gown i took all my makeup off and went to sit on the bed rolling a blunt . i couldn't get karma off my mind and i missed her so much hopefully this blunt let my mind rest cause so many things running through it .

devin walked in grabbing his jacket and leaving back out without saying a word i shook my head as i smoked my blunt and fell asleep .

Karma

after the interviews and the annoying ass camera crew we finally made it to the airport we still wasn't safe here people were taking pictures  and staring .

" you okay baby ? " i said to elana

she nodded her head holding my hand right as we waited for our flight .
