Chapter 23

Karma 

i sat at the hospital with maiya i had elana dropped off to me and ciara decided to take it in she said she would be back up here in the morning i sat there staring at her . i know her baby daddy have something to do with this and he wont get away with it .

"mommy im tired " elana said 

"okay we about to go " i said 

i got up and kissed maiya on the forehead and left i was hungry and feeling weak i haven't ate all day .

"you hungry " i said strapping elana in 

she nodded her head yes as i got in and closed the door i put my seat belt on drove off .

"what you wanna eat ?" i asked 

"nuggets " she said 

"okay " i said driving to a mcdonalds near our house 

the baby started kicking  i didn't want mcdonalds so i decided to just tell drew to bring me something when i get home .

"ow!" i said holding my stomach 

"whats wrong mommy?" elana asked 

"the baby is being bad " i said rubbing my stomach 

i pulled up to mcdonalds ordered her food and decided to get me a fry once we got our food i pulled up at our house around the corner .

"come on " i said to elana 

i grabbed her hand as i unlocked the door and walked inside .

"you can go eat when you done we gonna take a bubble bath " i said 

"okay " elana said going into her room 

i heard her turn the tv on so i sat down on the couch i felt the baby moving so i decided to call drew .

"hello" he answered on the third ring 

"hey you busy " i asked

"nah wassup " he said 

" i want some ihop combo number 4 and i want cookies and cream ice cream " i whined 

he laughed " is that all ?" 

"and donuts get the ones from walmart " i said 

"ite ill be there " he said 

i ended the call going to run elana and i bath water when she got done eating she met me in my bathroom i put her in and sat in we played in the bubbles and talked until i seen it was getting late i got her out and myself dried us off and put her on some lotion. i put on my robe and walked her to her room to get dressed once i got her dressed i got myself dressed then i went to lay down with elana until she fell asleep .

i heard my door open and i already knew who that was he must have stole the key back because i didn't give it to him .

" did you get everything ?" i asked as he walked into my room 

"yeah " he said passing me the bag

i started eating whatever i touched first i was so hungry it felt like i haven't ate in forever drew just stood there watching me eat like a pig .

"what ?" i said rolling my eyes

"nothing "  drew said smiling 

"how dre doing ?" i asked

"i just left from up there he hanging in there .. still in the coma though " drew said 

"he's a fighter ... elana and i took a bath and she told me she had a dream that i had the baby dre was in the room and they were playing with the baby " i said laughing 

i looked up to see drew eyes watering .

"you okay ?" i asked 

he sat down and put his face in his hands i knew he was crying but he didn't want me to see i laid my hand on his back and the other on his face i wiped his tears and pecked his lips .

"that dream is gonna come true .. you just have to believe that " i said 

"ow!" i said jumping in pain

"what ? whats wrong ?" drew asked

"this damn baby kicking my ass " i said putting his hand where her little foot was

he felt her kicking and a big smile spread across his face and i smiled i was so happy to him excited about the baby .

"i cant wait to hold her and kiss her " drew said kissing my stomach

i smiled laying down drew laid his ear on my stomach few seconds later i heard light snores then i drifted off into a deep sleep.
