Saranya

"Wh..hat do you mean to say?" She moved up from her seat, her body was now facing me. She was trembling, obviously this confrontation was unexpected to her.

"I think you know what I mean to say." I said calmly, while moving toward my seat.

"I am just a human. You bought me from some slave market. Now you owe me, my body. Do whatever you want to do. But I am just a human. JUST A HUMAN. I am not some wolf or whatever. " she hurled back, trying very hard to open the collar with both of her hands.

"It won't unlock. Only your owner has the power to unlock it. So it will be better for you if you start to consider it as a permanent jewellery. Because I don't have any plan to remove it, in the near future."

Her eyes were burning with rage. If it was in her hand, right now she must have killed me for million times.

" What do you want from me? " She barked.

"I have told you. I don't want anything. I own you and your wolf. It's a fact." She should know who is in charge here.

"I have not fucking sensed the wolf for last four years. Fucking four years. Neither have I shifted. She is dead now. " She lashed out suddenly, " Why do you want to bring a monster back?"

Well, honestly, I haven't expected her to accept the fact so easily.

"So, you are accepting the fact that you are a wolf?" I chuckled.

" I am not a wolf. It is a curse, a disease, living inside me." she replied frantically. "You have collared me. I am your slave now. I have to follow each and every order of you, whether I want to or not. So use me, abuse me, beat the hell out of me, dry me out of blood. You have so many options. Why are you bend down to hell to bring out the monster from me? " Her voice started to rise again in a constant manner.

If it had been anyone else other than her, maybe he had been dead by now. Only she was the reason for which , I was holding my composure. Maybe it was her courage or her stubbornness, which made me long for her even more.

"It will be better for you, if you take your seat, and try to listen to my words a little more attentively, " rigidity was visible in my voice. But her mind was beyond reasoning at that time.

"Do hell with your words. I am leaving, right now. You have guards assigned outside, they will catch me, but I will keep struggling, I will not bend down, I will fight until my last breath, but I will never submit to you. Not in this lifetime." she retorted, in a furious manner, ready to leave the room.

"Stop, right there." I growled. "Don't you dare to get out the room. It's an order."

*Nina's POV*

"Do hell with your order. " I started to advance toward the door, completely ignoring Saranya's threatening voice.

It is time to be brave. Don't break down in front of her . If she wants to kill you let her do so. But you can't go back to the root of your problems. I was constantly mentally assuring myself while going for the door.

Suddenly something passed by me like a gust of wind . And when I looked up for it, she was there, in front of me. Standing in between me and the doors. Her hands were holding down my arms forcefully with iron grips.

"I told you to sit down and listen to me. Don't you understand such simple words? " she was grinding her teeth in rage. Her eyes dark, soulless, ready to burn me. I averted my eyes in fear.

"Look at me." Saranya pulled my face in her direction firmly with one hand, another hand was still frozen at my left arm. I was holding back my tears with all of my will, when my eyes met hers, again. This time her eyes soften up a little, like they were trying very hard to show some softness or empathy. Her face was at less than an inches distance from mine.
