TIME FOR THE ONE THING IM DECENT AT WRITING, ANGST! HOPE Y'ALL ARE READY FOR MY SHIT.

Im changing all the titles to memes.

There are a few things you should know.

One; most countries have a red string attaching them to their soul mate. Most countries developed them at around 13-16, and they sometimes force countries to get along or even travel long distances to be with their soul mate.

Canada's string went up into the clouds. 13-year-old Canada was surprised when he found a red string extending into the heavens, and so was everyone else.

Two; nearly every country has a pair of wing reflecting their personality. Many of the wings helped the countries fly.

Canada has two different wings. The right one a gray goose wing, and the left a rainbow fairy wing. This strange combination made Canada's wings useless. He couldn't fly, they both moved on their own, and they made him stand out even more than his red string.

Canada hated standing out. He tried everything to be normal, to hide his string and wings. But even if he did, the rumors were enough to keep everyone aware of his strangeness. Canada was nice, kind, and trustworthy.

But no one seemed to care about that.

Especially the people punching him in the stomach.

"What's wrong, Canada?" an unfamiliar girl asked him sarcastically. He had no idea who she was, but it was normal for him to be beaten up by complete strangers.

"Can he talk?" asked another female voice.

"Yes, I can. Can I please go to my class? I'm going to be late," Canada said, looking up at the girls with dull brown eyes.

The girls just laughed at him, which caught someones attention. "Hey!" a male voice said, scaring the girls off. "What the- Nada, what're you doing here?" Canada looked up to see his brother, America.

"Nothing," he mumbled. America lifted his brother up. "I need to go to class, see ya!" Canada said cheerfully. America smiled and walked away.

Canada walked down the long hallway, humming quietly to himself. He finally reached the door to his class. It was right next to the door of the roof. Canada reached for the door to his classroom, but something stopped him. He slowly turned and opened the door to the roof. He walked a few flights of stairs before getting to the actual door of the roof.

He knew what he had to do.

Canada pushed the door open, letting the cold wind hit his face. He walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. The school was about six stories, a pretty decent height for a building.

High enough for a fatal injury.

Canada took off his oversized hoodie, letting his ugly wings unfurl. He hated them, he hated his string and everything about himself. He wish he would disappear.

Maybe he could stop wishing.

Canada stepped even closer to the edge. Then he let his feet slip, and he was falling down to the ground. His string started glowing, as most strings do when your soul mate is in danger. Time seemed to stop as Canada fell. He closed his eyes to block the wind lashing in his face. He waited for the impact.

But it never came.

Canada gradually opened his eyes and saw her. She had a kind face with stunning ocean blue eyes. She wore a flower crown with ribbons tied to the ends. But two things about her stood out to Canada.

One; she had mismatched wings. Her right wing was a  feathery wing with a top half of white and bottom half of black. The wing on her left was different than the right and identical to Canada's fairy wing.

Two; their strings were connected, glowing gold as he was being held by the country.

She flew to the roof and put Canada down, looking at him with concern. Canada looked back before speaking.

"Hello, I'm Canada."

"I'm Ukraine," a quiet, sweet voice chimed. The girl shyly looked away, twirling the ribbons with her fingers. Canada buried his face in his hands, blushing.

"Would you like to go out sometime?"

"I'd love to.

Eyyyyyyyyyyyy kill me. Also Ukraine is female in my universe don't hurt me.
