"Kaz! Breakfast!" Russia's screaming woke up Kazakstan. He grumbled and rolled himself out of bed and on the floor. Grabbing his blanket and draping it around his golden wings, Kaz slowly walked downstairs.

"Took you long enough," Ukraine remarked as the country went into the kitchen.

"Are you ok?" Estonia asked. Kaz shook his head, collapsing into a chair at the table. Latvia put her hand on Kaz's forehead.

"You're burning up," Lativa said with a worried expression.

"He's fine. Angel probably just slept with too many blankets or something," Russia said mockingly, picking at his cereal. Latvia and Estonia glared at him.

"Don't call me that," Kaz said, annoyed at the nickname.

"Russia's right," Kazakstan told her. "I can still go to school. Plus, I need to take Belarus to preschool."

Lativa thought for a moment. "I can call Armenia and see if he'll take Belarus, and if he can't I'll just make Russia do it."

"What!" Russia yelled. "He's fine!"

"He isn't fine Russia, stop being a brat," Ukraine spat out at the other country. Russia was about to say something before he got cut off.

"Enough!" Lativa yelled. Everyone got quiet. "Jesus, you all are acting like toddlers! Everyone get ready for school except for Kazhastan." she turned to said country. "Lithuania's going to measure your temperature. If it's high I'll get Moldova to grab you some stuff."

Kaz nodded and headed upstairs. Lithuania dragged him into the bathroom and stuck a thermometer into his mouth. He held it there until he heard a beep. The country looked at the numbers written on the thermometer.

"Yeah, you need to stay home," Lithuania said. She led him into his bedroom and sat him under the covers.

From in his room, Kaz could hear the faint chaos of his family as they tried to get ready for school. After the house had gone quiet, Lativa popped her head into his room.

"Moldova's coming over in two hours with medicine and soup," Lativa said softly. "Have a good day." She left.

"Ughhhh," Kaz groaned, throwing his phone on the ground next to the couch. He had been sitting on the couch for what seemed like forever. He couldn't find anything good to watch on TV and the game he was playing on his phone was becoming boring.

He slowly got off the couch and walked upstairs. Once he got to his door, he heard something shuffling around his room. He grabbed a broom and quickly opened the door. He threw his broom into his room and a string of curses in another language came from whatever he hit.

"Pip?" he asked. The Philipines was sitting down, rubbing his head.

"Ow... that's me," Pip said with a weak smile.

"What... How did you get into my room?" Kaz asked him.

"I kind of... uh... snapped off your window lock," Pip said nervously, gesturing towards two pieces of plastic lying on the ground.

"Why are you in my room?"

"Uh..." Pip stuttered. Kaz noticed a blue book in the country's hand. He grabbed it. "Hey!"

"So you wanted to steal a book?" Kaz said.

"That isn't yours!" Pip said angrily, standing up. Kaz opened the book.

It was drawings of him.

"Is this me?" Kaz questioned, even though he obviously didn't need to ask that question. They all looked exactly like him, from wings to his flag.

"I'm sorry, it's just... I don't... ugh!" Pip yelled the last part. "Can you give me my book and not tell anyone I've been drawing you?"

"These are really good," Kaz complimented. "I mean, they're really realistic! They aren't good just because I'm in them. But they're still really good."

Pip smiled, "Thanks."

"Why did you draw me?" Kaz asked. Pip's face flushed a bright shade of red. "A-are you ok?"

"I drew you because your really pretty and I like your wings and everything about you please don't hate me," Pip blurted out. Kaz blushed.

"I think you're pretty too," Kaz said quietly. Pip somehow turned even redder. The two stood awkwardly, struggling to find anything to talk about.

So Pip kissed Kaz on the cheek.

Kaz gasped and turned a darker shade of red. Someone began slowly clapping near the door. Kaz turned and saw Moldova clapping with a grin on her face.

"Awwwww, that's so sweet," Moldova gushed.

"MOLDOVA I SWEAR IF YOU TELL RUSSIA I'M GOING TO-" Kaz screeched.

"Relax, bro," Moldova said. "I'm not going to tell Russia. I'm just here to bring you these." She threw a bag at Kaz, which he luckily caught. "Oh, sunshine?"

"Yeah?" The two boys said in unison.

Moldova squinted in confusion. "I meant Philipines. Angel is deathly sick and you might die or something I don't know." Pip widened his eyes and opened the window. "Please use the front door."

"Bye, Angel!" Pip said cheerfully as he walked out the bedroom door and past Moldova. Kaz smiled brightly at the nickname he usually hated, just because Sunshine said it.
