Ladybug's POV

"....have you tried calmly talking to her about the situation?" 

I looked at Rena Rouge. Her pride normally made her fox ears perk up. Her perfect, proud, and confident posture was normally admirable, but today, she looked slumped.                                         

"She keeps ignoring me...or avoiding me..." I said, my voice squeaky. I wanted to talk to her about my situation because she didn't know who I was in that form, but I felt so close to giving away my identity.

"You know..." she took a deep breath, "I'm in a similar situation, except I'm the 'other girl' in the story...I keep avoiding who used to be my friend." She looked down at our feet that swayed off the side of the tall building we sat on.

"Oh....why?" I plastered a confused and innocent face on, so she wouldn't suspect anything.

"...I trusted her a lot, but then I was shown proof of her bullying another student, and I just got so upset. The nerve! It feels like she was just toying with everyone so we all thought she was kind. I didn't believe the proof at first...but it just made me so upset..." Rena spoke in an obvious frustration, but her voice squeaked in a way that had sadness behind it.

I patted her shoulder, "I'm sorry...I hope things get settled soon, even if you guys aren't friends anymore, at least the problem will get solved. Thank you for sharing, I like having girly moments like this!" I smiled and stood up. "Well, bug out!" I swung away quickly, feeling like I was slowly suffocating. Once I was safe in my room, I pulled out my phone and slowly, carefully, texted Alya.

"Alya? Do you want to talk? Just to understand each other?" 

'Bestie' is typing...

"Fine."
