Hoseok’s eyes widened as he felt soft lips against his own. He pulled away suddenly, his eyes wide in shock as Yoongi stared back at him, his eyes just as wide.

“Shit, Hobi—“

“W-What was that?” Hoseok asked, not knowing what the feeling inside of his chest was. He didn’t know how to process the thoughts and feelings moving through his mind right now.

All he knew was that he liked that kiss.

But he shouldn’t have.

He couldn’t.

“I-I’m Sorry.” Yoongi said, standing suddenly. “I shouldn’t have—“ Yoongi cut himself off as he turned to leave the room, suddenly turning back around and sitting back on the couch.

Hoseok was startled as the male grabbed his hands in his and drew them closer, his lips ghosting across his knuckles. “No.” He finally whispered after the odd actions. “I’m not sorry.” He finally admitted. “I like you, Hobi. I admit it, I’ve liked you for awhile, but I’ve been denying it, trying to respect you and the fact that you have a boyfriend, but...I like you.” Yoongi muttered.

Hoseok opened his mouth, but quickly closed it, unable to really say anything, not knowing what to say. Yoongi’s gaze bore into his and they sat there in silence, never breaking eye contact.

“He doesn’t love you.” Yoongi finally whispered. “He doesn’t treat you right. Let me show you. Let me show you what real love is. I’ll cherish you and protect you and show you the real way to love someone, the way you deserve.”

“H-Hyung—“

“Just...give me a chance. Please? And if you don’t want to, then we won’t continue, we won’t speak a word of it ever again. But please, just give me a chance to show you what real love is, and how much I’ll cherish you. How better I can be than that asshole you call a boyfriend.”

“Kiki...I-I don’t know. W-what if h-he finds out?”

“Then let him find out. He’s no good for you.”

“B-But…”

“Shh…” Yoongi pulled the boy into his arms, embracing him tightly. “Don’t worry about anything, just think about us, think about it. We won’t do anything if you don’t want to...but please just give me a chance. Give me a chance to show you how much you mean to me.”

Hoseok pulled away once again, looking deeply into Yoongi’s eyes.

He found no hesitation, no regret for the male’s words.

He shakily nodded his head after a moment of silence and staring.

“O-Okay.” He whispered. “I-I’ll give you a-a chance.”

Yoongi erupted into the most adorable smile. “Good.” He whispered. “I’ll show you the world, Jung Hoseok. I’ll give you everything he never did.”

-

“What do you want?”

“Don’t talk that way to your mother.” Yoongi groaned as his mother smacked him across the head.

“Why are you here, mother?” He finally sighed out, opening the door to his home more.

“Seeing as my own son won’t visit me, I had to take it upon myself to visit.”

“You’re wasting your free moments on earth to come and visit me? I’ll see you in a few centuries, mother.”

“That’s too long.”

“Sure, sure.” Yoongi said dismissively, waving his hand and turning to the kitchen, pouring himself a glass of water.

“You’re father wants to speak with you.”

“Tell him that I’m not interested.”

“You’ll have to talk to him at some point, Yoongi.”

“I’m aware. It just won’t be today...or the next few hundred centuries preferably.” Yoongi muttered.

Persephone scowled and reached to smack her son across the head once more for his disrespect.

“Kiki?” She paused when she heard the voice. She turned to find a human walking into the room, his hair disheveled and his clothes wrinkled.

Hoseok and Yoongi had fallen asleep in his room, Hoseok agreeing to stay the night, and the human had just woken up to find the male gone.

Hoseok stopped when he saw a beautiful woman in the kitchen, staring right back at him. “Who are you?” She demanded. Yoongi sighed and rolled his eyes.

“Seok, this is my mother. Mother, this is Jung Hoseok.”

“Oh!” Hoseok smiled and bowed suddenly. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, ma’am! Yoongi always speaks so kindly of you.” Lie, but Hoseok was a natural charmer.

“He does, does he?” Persephone asked with a raised eyebrow. She turned to Yoongi. “Son, Who is this?”

“My boyfriend.” Yoongi said, shrugging like it was nothing. His mother’s eyes widened and she whipped around to the human again.

“What!?” She shrieked. She rushed for Hoseok who stumbled back, thinking she was just finding out her son was gay and unaccepting. He didn’t want Yoongi’s mother to hit him.

But to his surprise, she merely grasped his face and turned it from side to side, studying him closely, a huge smile on her face. “Oh my god, really!?” She exclaimed. “Finally! When are you getting married!? When are you going to have children, you know how long I’ve been wanting grandchildren, son. He will bear the most beautiful babies—“

“Mother, let him go, you’re scaring him.” Yoongi snapped. The goddess released the human upon her son’s command and gave him a sheepish look.

“Sorry. It’s just, I’ve been trying to get him with someone for centuries, dear. You seem so nice and perfect for my son—“

“Mother, thank you for the visit, but I think it’s time to go now.” Yoongi suddenly said. “Father must be looking for you by now. I’ll talk to you later.”

“Yeah, in a few centuries.” The goddess snorted out.

“It’ll be longer if you don’t leave now.” The female rolled her eyes and stalked out the door, leaving Hoseok confused as to what had just happened.

Yoongi sighed and turned to Hoseok. “I’m sorry, she can get a little eccentric.”

“W-Why did she say I could bear babies?” Hoseok blurted out, his cheeks coating with red.
