Yoongi Focus
Today was the first day that Jungkook and Yoongi would attend school. Jungkook was more excited than Yoongi, though.
They’d moved into their new house and had settled in.
They were surprised that Jin and Namjoon hadn’t come yet, but the two had said that something had come up, and that they’d come soon.
The trio of gods walked onto campus, instantly drawing attention from the many humans outside.
Three gorgeous men who looked very wealthy. One of them they knew, he’d transferred last week, but the other two were completely new.
Jimin smirked at some of the girls, causing them to blush madly and turn away, giggling.
Yoongi rolled his eyes. “Keep it to a minimum there.” He growled lowly. Jimin stuck his tongue out slightly and turned to Jungkook.
“Our class doesn’t actually start for awhile. I just thought you’d like to look around. Yoongi, your class starts in about twenty minutes. I know somebody who…” Jimin looked around, his eyes landing on someone. “Hobi!” He yelled suddenly. Jimin turned to his friends, smiling. “He’s the most disgustingly happy person I’ve ever met.”
Jungkook wrinkled his nose, not quite understanding.
A human approached the trio, smiling widely. “Jiminie Hyung!” He said, the smile never wavering. “Good morning!”
“Good morning.” Jimin offered a small smile. “These are my friends. They just transferred here. This is Jungkook and this is Yoongi.” Yoongi looked over the human.
Jimin had been right. The human was disgustingly happy.
But even so, it started to grow on him almost instantly.
But Yoongi noticed something else.
Something he found puzzling, and something he didn’t quite like.
“Hoseok, Yoongi here is taking your class. I thought that you could maybe show him there? Jungkookie and I want to take a look around campus before our class starts.”
“Of course!” Hoseok said brightly. “Class was delayed for about twenty minutes, since we have a lab today, so there’s no need to rush.”
“Wonderful.” Jimin said. “Perhaps you could show us around a bit, then?”
“Sure!” Hoseok began to walk beside the three, leading them towards the three main buildings. “They’re split between types of majors. Science and math in that building, English and history, and the last one is for business majors and others.”
“And dance?” Jungkook asked.
“The fine arts building is behind those.” Hoseok replied. “It was a newer program, so they had to build behind the main campus." The others nodded. Hoseok led them behind the buildings, which revealed another beautifully built structure. “The library is also here. The football and other sporting fields are behind this building, since all of the locker rooms and changing rooms are here as well.”
“How old are you, Hoseok?” Yoongi asked.
“Twenty one.” Yoongi nodded thoughtfully. The others gave him a look and the god shrugged, giving them a look that said he’d tell them later.
They walked around campus, and Yoongi started to notice that everyone was smiling and waving at Hoseok, most of the time shouting a greeting as well.
He seemed to be a social butterfly. Yoongi was observing him so much that Jimin and Jungkook began to notice. They watched as Yoongi narrowed his eyes at Hoseok, almost as if trying to think of something. They shrugged it off though, because they knew Yoongi would explain later.
Plus he was awkward, and he’d always had trouble talking.
All of the gods on Olympus were wary of him because of who his father was, and Yoongi didn’t give off a very friendly vibe, anyway. It’s taken the others a few decades to finally open up to the god, although they didn’t regret it.
The four of them had found that Yoongi was an excellent friend. Someone who always listened and tried to talk things out. He was there for you and had your back when you needed it.
Once you got past the outer layer, the inside was quite beautiful.
“Hobi!” A girl said, running up to him.
“Hi, Momo.” He said brightly.
“Oppa, can I talk to you for a moment? I have a question.”
“Sure.” Hoseok turned to the others he’d been touring around. “I’ll be right back.” They nodded as Hoseok was dragged off by the female, who hadn’t even glanced at the gods. They narrowed their eyes.
Fairy.
She was a fairy.
Jimin and Jungkook took that chance to turn to Yoongi. “Care to explain why you were staring at him so intently?” Jimin asked.
“There’s something strange.” Yoongi said. “It seems like everyone likes him and that he’s always so happy.”
“That’s strange? Wait, don’t answer that question, it is a little off putting, but still.”
“That’s not what’s strange.” Yoongi tilted his head and looked across the courtyard, his eyes landing on the human. “What’s strange is that he’s going to die soon.”
“What!?” Jimin and Jungkook both shouted, surprised.
“I can sense it. He’ll die soon, but what confuses me...is that he’ll be intentionally murdered.” Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. “But I don’t know who would hold a grudge against someone like him.”
