Hoseok Focus

“Remember the rules.”

“Yes, sir.” Hoseok whispered, looking down at the ground.

Currently, he was standing at the door, suitcase in hand and pulling his coat on.

“I’ll be back in about two months. Don’t slack off and don’t you dare try and gain weight. We wouldn’t want you to be fat, would we?”

“No, sir.”

“That’s my good little boy.” The man leaned down and kissed Hoseok’s forehead. “I love you, baby.”

Hoseok smiled slightly, feeling a warm sensation fill his chest. It was rare that he would display affection, and Hoseok lived for those moments.

“I-I love you, too.”

The man said nothing else and walked out of the home.

Hoseok would be alone for the next two months, as the man had to go to Japan on a business trip. Hoseok has never been alone for that long since he’d started dating him.

He was scared.

But also excited.

Classes didn’t start for another two hours, as he had to leave early, and of course Hoseok had to be up to make him breakfast and such.

He didn’t really know what to do, so he decided to get dressed and head for campus to maybe socialize or get some extra practice in at the dance studio.

He pulled on a loose shirt and some sweats before grabbing his bag and walking outside, enjoying the cool fresh morning air.

He walked to the nearest bus stop and sat at the bench, waiting.

He closed his eyes and just enjoyed the silence.

“Hello.” Hoseok opened his eyes, unable to stop them from widening at the man in front of him. He didn’t think it was possible for someone to be that beautiful. But apparently it was.

“Hi!” Hoseok finally said, smiling brightly after a few seconds of staring.

“Are you perhaps a student at the uni?”

“I am! I’m Jung Hoseok, and you are?”

“Seokjin. Kim Seokjin.”

“Nice to meet you.” Hoseok bowed slightly and the man returned it. “Are you taking the bus as well?”

“I am. I’m kind of glad that you go to the university, I haven’t met up with any of my friends yet, and I still need to get my car and things. I didn’t want to be lonely. I guess I’m just someone who doesn’t like to be alone.”

“We’re all like that.” Hoseok said, still smiling. “Human nature and all.”

“Right, human nature.” Jin muttered. “Anyway, What do you major in?”

“Horticulture.” Hoseok said. “Also dance.”

“That different?”

“I’ve always loved to dance, and I received a scholarship to enter uni for it, but I’ve always wanted to study flowers. I love them. It’s a dream of mine to open a flower shop one day.”

“That’s nice.”

“And what about you?”

“Mmm...I’m still undecided, to be honest. I just moved here, I’m from out of the country, actually.”

“Really? That’s so cool. It’s a little weird, we’ve had so many new students this past week, even though it’s the middle of the semester. Usually students wait until semester of the next year to enter.”

“I just couldn’t wait.” The bus rolled up and the two got on together.

“And your friends? Are they new as well?”

“Yes. Maybe you’ve heard of them? Park Jimin and Min Yoongi? There’s also that brat, Jeon Jungkook, but—eek!” A gust of wind suddenly ripped through the bus, smacking Jin right in the face. Hoseok covered his mouth to stop himself from giggling, not even questioning how a gust that strong got into the bus.

It wasn’t even windy out.

“Anyway.” Jin continued, sounding a little peeved. “I’m glad I met you. You’re very nice, Hoseok.”

“Thank you. You’re very nice as well, Jin Hyung.”

“Hyung?”

“Ah, you’re older than me, no?”

“I would guess so.”

“You’re form out of the country, I forgot. Well, in Korea we have titles for people who are older than us and younger and such to show respect. You’re older, so Hyung.”

That’s right, bitches. Jin cackled to the others.

He heard a faint groan and smiled.

“Thank you for informing me, Hoseok.”

“No problem! Oh, did you need help getting around campus? My class doesn’t start for a few hours, I was just up really early and was bored, so I have plenty of time to show you around if you’d like?”

“I would greatly appreciate it, yes. Thank you for offering.”

“No problem!” The bus pulled up to the university and the two men got off, walking onto the campus.

The few students who were there at the early morning hours blatantly stared at Jin. Lust filled their eyes, but it was nothing new.

Jin had been surprised when there had been no such reaction from Hoseok, just admiration for his looks, no desire or lust at all.

It was a little bit of a breath of fresh air.

Jin already liked this boy and he could instantly tell what the others had meant by him being so happy and kind.

It made him a little sad knowing that he’d die such a horrible death.

That he lived with such a horrible man.
