ERIC POV

We walked out of the restaurant, as we turned the corner to get to my car the waitress was sitting at the curb smoking a cigarette. The smoke that can out of her mouth went up and then made a sudden turn. It was started to get a little windy out and it felt like it was going to rain. I really hope it doesn't’ start raining tonight.

When we got to the car, I looked up at the sky. The moon was already starting shine through the fluffy clouds that were right above us. It was a beautiful night out, hopefully it stays that way.

I must have been standing in front of the car looking up at the sky for a while because Abby cleared her throat. I snapped out of it turning around so I was facing her again. I lifted her up from the wheelchair with ease, making sure I didn’t push too hard on her back.

I set her down on the passenger’s seat; I took a step back away from the car. I reached into the bottom of my pocket. I searched for the handkerchief that I almost forgot when I left my house to grab.

I pulled it out of my pocket; Abby gave me a puzzled look. I smiled at her and went and sat down in the seat with her. Since we're both under five foot and Abby is as thin as a twig. It worked out just fine.

“You know I would hurt you if you blew your nose on that.” Abby told me giving one of her adorable smirks.

“Well I may have used it before you came.” I gave her a smirk as she playfully slapped me in the arm. It didn’t hurt at all; I started to tie the handkerchief around her eye. Carefully making sure that I didn’t get any of her small hairs in it, “Hey, at least you didn’t say kill.”

“It’s because you're too special to kill.” she told me, in the sweetest voice she could make. I gave her a kiss and went back to tie the knot making sure it wasn’t too tight.

“I have one more place to take you. I want it to be a surprise so don’t take the blindfold off.” I told her after I was done making sure the blindfold was on. I took her face in my hands and kissed her forehead before I got up from the seat.

I grabbed Abby’s wheelchair as it was about to start going down the parking lot. I set it down in the backseat, gentler than i had done before today. i walked around the front of the car humming a beat under my breath.

I climbed into the driver’s seat and turned on the car, I slowly started to driver out of the parking lot. I put my arm around her shoulder rubbing the far shoulder. I was trying to calm myself down and when I touch her I get a sudden relaxation go through me.

I got onto the interstate, the chilly wind started to pick up. Abby raped her arms around her waist; I grabbed the sweatshirt off the ground and put it on her. “You know this probably looks like your kidnapping me?”

I laughed at her and said,” I’ll take that chance.” We sat in silence the rest of the way there. My tapped my fingers to the melody I was humming before.

I turned into a gravel road; on the sides of us there were thick bushes that smelled very sweet. Abby sat up straighter than she was before. I smiled at her and went back to concrete on what is going to happen in the next few minutes.

We got to the end of the drive that ended in a small parking lot. I slow down right when I was about to hit the grass. I turned off the engine and laid my head back, trying to gather my thoughts. One of my hands was still gripping the steering wheel. I sat there for a few seconds trying to catch my breath. I don't’ know why I was freaking out about. I love her and she needs to know that. Finally I gather up enough confidence to step out of the car.

I quickly walk to the other side of the car, I opened Abby’s door slowly. I picked her up in a swift movement. She wrapped her arms around my neck, putting her face in my hair.
