“Three months or three days, Rosaline. The choice is yours.”

Three months or three days.

She looked up at him, pleadingly,
“Harry, please…”

His heart was too full, for the first time in ten years, for him to let her go so easily. He will not back down.

“Three months or three days,” he repeated sternly.
“Let me know now, for we’ll either go backward or forward, whatever you decide.
Backward, we’ll go along to Drake, where a very comfortable Inn reminds itself to me. Forward, we’ll go to Abbotsburry, and there, we will remain, together, regardless of what we find awaiting us, for three months.
Tell me your decision now, sweeting, or else I’ll make it for you.”
The man said with a determined look.

She knew what his decision would be, for already he was straining his reins in the direction that led back to Drake.

Staring at him, meeting his eyes and wondering anew at how beautiful they were, like shining emeralds, Rosaline let out a loud sigh.

“Forward,” she finally said, resigned.

She didn't really have a choice, now, did she?
She couldn't go to London on her own. Todays events were the biggest proof of it.
God knows what might lay ahead of her if she ever decided to pursue this journey alone!

Harry seems to be determined to not go anywhere without his "payment".
The answer was  obvious. She would stay by his side for the next three months.

Astoundingly her decision didn't upset her as much as she thought it would.

Three months with that unimaginably cocky and vain man should have felt impossibly hellish, but incredibly enough she was,  in a way, looking forwards to them.

How strange?

Triumphant, Harry smiled widely.
He was hopping for her to say those words!

Don't mistake him.

He wouldn't have minded taking her to the Inn and ravish her for  the next three days and nights.
Take as much as his heart desired.
Fulfil all these fantasies and almost animalistic urges that had been making him go insane ever since his met her.

Three days of him drowning in pure bliss.

But that would be it.

All he could or would ever get from her.

He knew deep inside. She wouldn't give herself to him that willingly.

And he didn't like the idea of forcing himself on her.

He didn't want her like that.

He wanted her to come to him willingly. And enjoy every bits of his love making, just as much as he certainly would.

Well, God's teeth!

He gets to keep her by his side for the next three months!
He could barely hold himself together.

“To Abbotsburry then, my lady. To Abbotsburry we go.”

Three more months with this infuriating female.
More fights, rebellions and angst... the future  never seemed any brighter for the man.
