(Jessie's point of view)

I was with Kevin and my siblings had stayed the night at my castle. I went to talk to Loki to see how he was doing for myself.

I knocked on the door softly in case the kids were asleep. The door opened to Loki. He looked ready for a fight just in case.

"Oh hey, Jessie" he smiled.

"Hey. Are the kids asleep?" I asked.

"Yeah" Loki voiced.

"I was wanting to talk to you if that's okay. Though since the kids are asleep maybe we should take this outside" I suggested.

"Can we at least stay towards here?" Loki asked.

"Sure if you feel better that way" I agreed.

So Loki came out, closed the door softly and came to the window.

Once we got to the window I turned towards Loki.

"I'm sorry by the way. I was just going through a rough time and I honestly should have faced my problems rather than running away from them all the time. I want to do better though" Loki apologized.

"It's okay Loki. Your my brother and no matter what happens you'll always be my brother" I smiled at him.

"Still I kinda feel a bit guilty about it now"  Loki voiced.

"We all make mistakes" I told Loki.

"I know. I just wanted to get that off my chest. So what were you wanting to talk about?" He asked me.

"You and Bree just seemed to be really close lately. I know you don't see it as any more than friends for you but I'm worried about Bree" I told Loki.

Loki was quiet then. "Because she has a crush on me? Is that it?" He asked me.

I nodded.

"Well what do you want me to do? She wants to help me. Even if it means that she'd fall in the process. I know that kind of love and their really isn't anything can do about it once they've decided something with that kind of love" Loki explained.

"So you've noticed" I asked.

"You don't think I would notice a girl looking at me the way Darkness does? Yeah, I've noticed but the situation is a bit more complex then just staying away from her. She really wants to help out and who am I to stop her?" Loki answered.

"I don't know....." I told Loki.

"She's growing on the kids a bit as well. They really seem to like her" he told me.

"How do you feel about her?" I asked.

Loki took some time to think and turned towards me. "She saved my life, and saved me from the darkness below. She gave me a reason to fight and a reason to care again. I feel as though I owe her so much more than I can give her. I'm grateful to her and I respect her" Loki admitted.

"Wow. You don't usually talk that high of people" I voiced shocked at his reply.

"There's usually not a lot to talk so highly of" Loki responded.

I smiled back at Loki. I was proud to see the man he was becoming. He was definitely a man now compared to when he was a kid.

I hugged him as a tear reached my eyes.

"What's up Jessie?" Loki asked.

"I remember when were kids like yesterday and I see you now and you've grown so much since then. I'm happy to see that and I'm glad to have a brother like you" I admitted to Loki.

Loki flushed in embarrassment then. He looked down at the floor like he always used to. "I.....shouldn't you be getting rest for tomorrow anyways? Besides, how'd it get from that to this?" He asked me.

"Okay. See you at graduation tomorrow Loki" I smiled at him.

"See you" Loki replied back walking slowly back to the kids.

(Loki's point of view)

Today was the day I would see Jessie get promoted to queen. She looked beautiful in the dress she wore and as I watched her so many memories flooded to me. I remembered her as a kid and I saw her now and I grew proud of her. I was happy that she'd gotten to be with the person of her dreams as well. I was also glad to have such a wonderful family around me. Suddenly my eyes seemed to open more as if I'd been freed from being in a certain haze for so long. I noticed more and from there within a few minutes I came to life again. I felt almost alive again. I looked behind me then almost expecting to see Darkness but she wasn't there. I realized it must have been the feelings I felt for Jessie now. I couldn't go back into the haze I was in either. I'd been asleep for too long for that. I decided it was a good thing. After all with me noticing more maybe me and the kids could get closer now. For the first time in a while I smiled out of pure happiness for Jessie now.

I was definitely growing up and I could feel myself changing a bit but it seemed to be for the better. The kids noticed my smiling and they smiled brighter then they ever had before.

"Daddy's happy" Hope stated.

"Daddy's smiling!" Angel noticed.

"Yeah. Daddy's proud of Jessie" I smiled at them.

Bree picked up Angel then and stood next to me while I got Hope.

"Thank you" Angel voiced to Bree.

Bree flushed and said "For what?"

"Daddy's happy" Angel stated.

This made Bree blush even more.

Loki just looked at me in a way that said she's just a kid.

"I think he did all of that on his own" Bree stated then.

"You helped some though" Hope replied.

"Your welcome" Bree voiced.

Hope and Angel smiled at Bree then. Bree cooed over them. Hope reached out her hand to Bree and smiled as she said "Will you be our mom?"

"Huh?" Bree replied.

"Hope..." I started to say but I didn't know what to add to that.

"Why don't we talk about this a little later okay?" I asked the kids.

They nodded and so we stayed at the castle till the coronation was over. We went home where me and Loki talked about what the kids had asked us about.
