Five guys and insecurites

So I had this idea while going to McDonald's and thought it was kinda good so here. Hope you enjoy this plus I love you. Yes yes I know the title is stupid I just couldn't think of anything else at the time.

"Y/n!" You're boyfriend of 8 mounths Shawn called out "Whattt!" You yelled back "I'm hungry" "Well I can't solve that I'm doing homework I need to finish I have a big exam tomorrow and this takes 30% of my final grade" "Ok do you want me to order something or do you want to go out because you could probably use a break you've been at this for hours" you sighed I mean I guess I could use a break you thought "Ok where do you want to go cause I want to go out" "Um there's a Five guys, Wendy's, and Applebee's across the street" "Well I guess I want To go to Five guys" Cause you're craving a cheese burger "Ok let's go" you said, So you grabbed your purse and stuffed your keys, phone, and wallet in your purse then walked out of the door.

You walked to Shawn's Jeep Wrangler and jumped into the passenger side Shawn locked the house then ran to the car and jumped into the divers seat you guys buckled and were off. You put on some music and hummed along to the beat while Shawn sang all the lyrics you stared at him and admired his beautiful voice he caught you staring and said "Like what you see" you smirked then said "Eh I've seen better" he quickly glanced You're way and you could tell by his confused expression that he was trying to find something to say so he retaliated with,

"Oh ok well two can play that game" then you decided to play dumb and say "What game? I have no idea what your talking about?" he smiled then said "Well you know you're not that good looking, lots of girls look way better then you" and that completely changed your feelings to sad so you just looked at the floor, Shawn didn't notice and continued, Shawn didn't know that you've always been pretty self conscious. You knew he was joking but it still kinda hurt you so you stayed silent and you felt your eyes get glossy then a tear rolled down your cheek you lifted your hand and quickly wiped it away before Shawn saw.

You guys pulled into Five guys "Um can you just go in and grab it ? Then we'll eat back at the house, I'm not feeling very great" you lied "Oh are you okay" he said and sounded kinda worried so you just lied again to lead him off "Yeah don't worry I'm fine I just have a-a head ache" you mentally slapped yourself for stuttering because you usually only stutter when you're lying or nervous so he's probably gonna suspect something's up, "You sure" he said then stroked your hair which he knows calms you down "Mhmm" you said calmly "Ok love you" with that said he pecked your lips then went inside. While he was inside you looked at yourself in the mirror and thought.

He's right I'm not that good looking every girl is prettier then me, I'm so ugly

When Shawn came back he looked at you weirdly (because you're wearing sunglasses at night) before opening the car door and getting in, You're wearing sunglasses because while Shawn was inside Five guys you cried a little and didn't want him to see so you threw on sunglasses to cover your eyes. After he buckled he begin to drive after a while he asked you" Babe are you sure you're okay I know you told me you're fine but I know somethings up" you didn't reply you just stared at the floor sitting in uncomfortable silence "Babe did I hurt you with that comment I was just joking I think your the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" he heard you sniffle trying to choke back tears.

When you guys got home you were sleeping so Shawn carried you in and shook you awake "Babe we're home you wanna eat then snuggle while watching something" you smiled and jumped out of his arms "You know me so well" after you guys ate and got ready for bed you decided to skip the movie since it was kinda late, So you crawled into the bed with Shawn and cuddled close to him and told him "And Btw I think you're the hottest person on earth" he replied in a deep raspy voice "Aww thank you goodnight Babe I love you" "Goodnight I love you too" then you fell asleep listening to his heart beat.
