I was bored, so I decided to make a chapter on what I'm hoping for season 3, which is coming this summer.
(Season 2 spoilers ahead! If you haven't watched it, then what are you doing with your life? Go watch it right now!)
Season 2 left off with Shadow Weaver looming over Adora's bed, Catra out of favor with Hordak, and the new knowledge that the Crimson Waste will be important. This is where Huntara will come into play.
But, considering that we know almost nothing about Huntara, and we have no idea whatsoever why or how Shadow Weaver came to be by Adora while she is sleeping (I actually have no guesses, but if you do, please tell me!), I'd like to talk about what might happen with Catra. Considering that there are still going to be several more seasons, I really don't think that Catra will be getting a redemption arc quite yet. I do want her to get one, but not so soon. What I'm hoping will happen is that Hordak will be something like "I will give you one more chance *Insert spooky-scary eye gesture* but if you fail me again, your fate will be something much, much worse then death," and then give her some important mission such as capturing/killing a princess or conquering a whole kingdom. The reason I'm hoping for this is because:
a) it would be interesting to see a princess captured and held in the Fright Zone for more then one episode
b) it would also be interesting to see how the rebellion would react to yet "another" death of a close friend
c) Catra has only been a true villain for about one season, unless you really count season 1, which I don't. I think that she should have a little more time to sink into evil before becoming good. You may have different opinions, but this is mine. However, it would also be cool to see Beast Island, and to watch how Scorpia and Entrapta (and Adora) would react to Catra being sent there, which will most likely happen if Hordak doesn't give her another chance.
I'd love to hear anyone else's thoughts and opinions. Also, if you disagree with mine, please don't be rude about it (I'm not accusing anyone, just saying I don't want to argue with people), because everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
